  • Hi Sirisha. I want to make sure I understand what your issue is.

You have exams in 5 months and need to be motivated to study for 15 hours per week to prepare for them. Is this correct?

your accent make me think you are from india ...now you want to use the age old students method for motivation ..just imagine that if you don't study enough ..and you fail the exam..your life will be ruined ..and you might be able to salvage it enough to get a job answering phones and hearing people yell ..damit can i speak to an american ..

now if you really need motivation .. there is always the possibility you are on the wrong degree path ..and you are feeling inside you want to do or study something else ..

so do you really want to achieve this goal as much as you once did ..

    answer that ..

Yes. I actually done my best in motivation. I have so many distractions at my home. I live in a village where I should not go to outside for study ( library). I am helpless with the things happened to me. Everytime someone like my relatives, friends and some people of brother friends, come to our house. I want to stick my tasks but i cannot able to do anything. Whatever happens, I want to stern motivation that i wont lift my ass off.

it is not motivation you need you seem to have plenty of that .. it is learning how to cope with distractions ..

here is a trick figure out which is the hardest stuff to study ..and the easiest stuff ..when you have no distraction go over the harder stuff and when you do have distractions work on the easier stuff ..you may also need breaks anyway ..which is why the dstractions happen

when distractions happen let your mind relax eat something light then learn how to say you need to get back to work after you feel rested enough ..

might want to ask other student in india going through what you are how they deal with it ..

i doubt it is a lack of motivation ..you may just be getting tired and need the break

honestly, i do not really quite understand your question. but here are some things i can give to you for consideration:
    1. Do goal setting and memorize it
if you already have a goal, which i believe you do as you mentioned, then do yourself a favor by reading it everyday, literally memorize it. this will make the law of attraction to work in your favor instead of against you.
    2. Get yourself a team instead of fighting it alone
the next step is to form a team or a mastermind. Get 3 or 4 of your friends together and study together. study by yourself, in your case, has proved to lead to procrastination which lead to your failure to achieve your goal.
    3. Declare your goals and seek help
Next, declare your goals to your mastermind, your family. don't get disappointed if they laugh at you. This declaration will hold you responsible to your word. they will keep checking up with you from time to time, and if you don't want to be embarrassed, better yourself straight.
    4. Get an accountability partner
ask your friends to be your partner, ask him/her to be iron heart to punish in case you fail.
ask them to check on you frequently, 2 or 3 times a day or more if possible.

with these steps, you should be able to get to your goal on time.

Yea, find an accountability partner that will keep an eye on your progress.
And try to make a public commitment for it. Tell everyone and share with others saying that you will accomplish your task of studying for 15 hours, and tell others what result you desire to get.

One thing to remember though, it seems like this is not what you truly want in your life. Because if you have chosen the right subject, you don't really need to have the motivation, your passion will fuel your motivation.
