Why all this stuff is worth your time (quick motivation)

Hey All,

Here's some motivation for you.

Let's say you have a job and are paid $30,000 per year. If, depending on your industry, the average annual raise is 3% then you can expect a raise of $900.

Now let's say you spend two hours per night, five days a week working on your internet business. Even if every month you only figure out how to make $1 per day, at the end of the year you'd be making $12 per day or $4380 per year.

At $30,000 per year, a $4380 increase would be a 14.6% raise.

Would you work an extra 2 hours everyday for such a large raise? I bet most people would. Get what I'm tellin' ya?

Don't give up. This is worth your time.

Cheers.

I Do agree. People needs to start investing their time instead of the outsourcing crap.

If you can do something DON'T PAY someone to do it for you.

      Hey techwizard,

I appreciate you taking the time to reply, but with respect, I think you missed the point.

My point was that even the most minute success (increasing your earnings by $1 per day, every month, totaling $12 per day at the end of a year) is still a much greater net increase to your income than you'll see if you don't do anything or give up on your business entirely.

Even the smallest gains you make in your personal business are greater than the gains you're likely to see if you only work for someone else.

Is that worth your time? I think it is. And if something is worth your time, you shouldn't ever give up.

      Thanks again for the reply.

I agree with the OP and the most important part is that you have the time in your hands and do not need to reply on anyone to take decisions.

We al agree any kind of income is good. If wedont need to spend it on expenses we can save or invest them for achievin financial freedom sooner.

Apart from income, the feelings of achievement and success which a person will get from earnin from his own business, is worth the time. With that feelin they would gain confidence and who knows what then can happen in future. May be that $4380 could increase multifold. There' no limit of ideas u know...

Thank you for taking a moment to respond, but I have to disagree with you here.

Twice I've made my living, my only and full time income through my own online businesses, and twice I've walked away from it. I walked away because I wasn't finding fulfillment.

And with all due respect, I think you also somewhat missed the point of my original post.

My point was that I see too many people becoming highly discouraged about the idea of their own online business, or worse, giving up on it all together. And all I was trying to point out is that even the smallest, most minute amount of success online is greater than the success that most people will find by trying to climb the traditional career ladder.

In other words, all this stuff is worth your time.

      Cheers.
