Which is more important in IM: Heart or Brain or Luck?

French mathematician Blaise Pascal once said "Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point," which Merriam-Webster translates as "the heart has its reasons that reason knows nothing of." That's lovely and heartbreaking, but it doesn't help a lot.

Pardon my French, but I would like to get a straight answer. Which one is the best bet in IM: heart or brain or luck? Don't give me those ambiguous answers like, a little bit of both. The last thing I need is a "conflict of jurisdictions" in my own head. Let me hear you. What's your answer?

Deep in your heart, you should know that brains create luck.

Of course some dimwits are just plainly lucky but that's another story.

That's the story of my life to be perfectly honest, lol. I also read somewhere and I like. It goes something like this.

You should have the heart big enough to actually feel something, but you should also have the brain big enough to realize what you just felt. Of course, with a little bit of luck I simply forget to care about my feelings and my brain, lol.

      Thx.

There is nothing more futile than looking for a 'straight answer' where none actually exists. This all a matter of perspective. Looking for absolutes in life will get you nowhere - but perhaps you have already arrived.

Just sayin' - could be something to think about. :-)

    Cheers. - Frank

Heart. It will pull you through in everything whether your brain is the best or not. It will pull through whether the lucky breaks come or not.

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

I believe that I forgot to include the stomach, believe it or not. When my stomach tells me that a client is no good for me and that a particular project is gonna end up bad, this is what usually happens. So, I guess I'm talking about my heart and feelings.

Does the body create the energy field around us (aura) or is the body being manifested out of this energy field? My personal experience from meditating tells me the latter.

I think it is none of the above...

It is focusing on money making activities.... and eliminating everything else.

Honesty is the best policy. This was brutally honest, but at least you're being honest about it. Appreciated.
