Best Entrepreneur / Freelancer Podcasts
Hey there everyone!
Thank you so much for the warm greeting you gave me on my last post. I've just recently stumbled upon the site this past week and I'm hoping to learn and grow with this community as we each pursue our professional goals.
A little bit about myself: I recently moved from the small college town where I spent the last four years to the big city down the highway. For the most part, the change of scenery has been awesome. So much to see and do that just wasn't available in a small town. My only complaint is that I now spend an incredible amount of time in traffic. It sucks.
What's worse is that the longer I sit in traffic, the worse I feel about wasting time. We only have so much time in every day to accomplish our goals and to enjoy life. Sitting in traffic accomplishes neither of these things.
Some friends of mine recommended that I start listening to podcasts related to entrepreneurship and freelancing so that I could spend the time spent in traffic learning. So far, I'm really loving it! Right now I'm listening to two different podcasts: Entrepreneur on Fire and Smart Passive Income. I kind of stumbled upon these two just because they were rated highly in iTunes.
Don't get me wrong, I've definitely learned a lot about doing business online from these two podcasts. My only complaint is that there always seems to be someone trying to sell me something. Between all of the "plugs" and the actual commercials on these podcasts, I would like to find a couple of podcasts that are a little more content dense.
Do any of you know of any podcasts like these? Or does a podcast on entrepreneurship just by its nature involve a lot of commercials and product pitches?
