My question, "As a freelancer what’s the best balance of time?" is not pointed towards finding a work/life balance, it's more about finding a balance between your workday. How much time is spent on self-promotion, finding new projects to have 'on deck', and actually working on deliverables for clients?
I think the initial question really comes more into play when a freelancer is not super busy. I feel like it's easy to get sidetracked with 'acting productive' while looking for new jobs/employers. On the other hand, obviously if you're fully booked with projects to work on, then the answer to the question is 100% work, 0% self-promotion, 0% new project search... or is it?
Is there a solution to the workday balance equation, or is it simply too different between individuals?
