Have you ever made a mistake that wasnt worth learning from?

Ive made my fair share of mistakes I think, perhaps more. And I know that they are golden opportunities to learn. But a lot of the time I can help thinking that the lesson learned was pretty insignificant compared to the consequences of that mistake?
For example, for my first business blew way too much of my initial budget on advertising, because it was the aspect of running a business that I was attracted to the most. As a result the business teetered on the point of sinking and took 6 months more to get going than it should have.
So the lesson learned - dont spend too much on advertising just because you like it. Is a fairly plain and simple positive in contrast to the negative of near bankruptcy?
Does anyone have any mistakes like this? Where the lesson learned seems almost pathetic in comparison to the damage caused?

Yeah - but mine involved men

Sometimes the lesson learned is that you aren't as smart as you thought you were....but that can be a good lesson.

So true. I have made my fair share of mistakes. Funny how most revolve around men.

Haha, that is a great point. Knowing your limits and capabilities is very important, The universe has thrown a few lessons of that nature my way in recent times.

I think that's an oxymoron. There's no such thing as a mistake not worth learning from. The question I ask myself is was/am I paying enough attention to learn?

Clues and answers are always there. Question is, are we listening?

I don't think so. If it's a mistake, there is always a lesson somewhere to be learned.
