Keep Going In The 4th Quarter

We are now coming into the last part of the year and it's time you finish up strong. There are many people that have given up and are not in the race anymore. If that's you, then this post isn't for you.

Right now I am speaking to the people who are still going. The people who refuse to give up even in the moments when the best option might just be to give up.

Maybe right now you're thinking about throwing in the towel and giving up on this internet marketing thing. I'm here to tell you right now to keep pushing.

Right now you must dig deep and find the source within you to power you to the end of the year. Now is not the time for you to start thinking about giving up. Now is when you want to push more and get more done.

Focus On Who You Are Doing This For

Normal advice tells you to focus on your why. Now I'm not saying that your why won't motivate you, but I've found that focusing on who you're doing this for will give you even more motivation. Think about a person who's really important to you. Now think about how you taking action and pushing forward will help you to change that person's life.

The more you think about this the more you'll build up this motivation inside you. Focus on this feeling and use it to fuel you.

Eliminate Every Distraction

Now isn't the time to get distracted. Only what you want to accomplish should be before you. The amount of time you have on this plane is limited. It's time you stop living like you have all the time in the world. Each action you take should move you closer to the dream you're trying to accomplish.

There should be no time for TV. There is no time to waste on things like Facebook and other social media. Hone your focus. The only important things are what you need to accomplish. Find the things that matter in your life and focus on them. To many times, I see people posting talking about not having enough time. I bet if you audited there lives you'd see they waste a lot of time with other things.

Conclusion

I know you want to be successful. I know you want to finish the year strong. Now is the time to focus and do it. The only way to get to your dreams is to go after them.. There's no person on this planet who will give you the things that you want. You must go out and get them!

Finish strong

I'm a cordcutter, and I'm damn proud of it. My productivity has certainly increased since I cut out TV from my life. The only time I'll ever watch TV is maybe during a meal once a week when I'll be eating at home. I'll throw up a show no longer than 30 minutes, so I can get back to the grind ASAP

I literally have no cable in my home. Honestly, it has helped to improve my productivity. By not having cable I have nothing to watch which means that all I can do is get more work done.

Honestly I can say it's the best decision I've made with my life. Immediately when I'm finish doing what I need to get done for my business I'm able to spend time with my wife. To me television is one of the biggest distractions in our modern world. If a person is serious about taking their internet marketing business to the next level then they must get rid of distractions.

I understand that this may not be the situation for most people. Probably you can control your TV addiction, me on the other hand, once I get started I can't stop. This is why I rather not have any television, than to have to deal with the addiction that comes with it.

Making money online and forming a profitable business comes down learning how to limit distractions and get more work done.

    Thanks for the pep talk.

This week I realised it'€™s 4 weeks until Christmas and with that i realised if I want to take some time off with my family and not be on the bone of my arse I will need to seriously kick some butt in the next 4 weeks and drive some business home (and money of course).

I am not short of motivation now and I know what I want and what I want to achieve to do this I won'€™t be cutting cords to my TV set as I need some time out now and again, but I will be doing the following:

    - Focusing heavily on my pipeline
    - Alerting my contacts and any clients who send me work that there is 4 week left and anything they near pre-2017 needs to be actioned now
    - Focusing on driving some serious traffic to my website
    - Focusing on time management
    - Clearly outlining every task that needs to be done and ensuring they are ticked off (not rescheduled)
    - Spending more time up and at em and working straight away (no checking social media)
    - Taking the time to have phone conversations about work for 2017 and planning
    - Not spending time getting festive, focusing on the here and now

If I want to make the money I need to make to have a comfortable Xmas I need to kick distractions in the butt and stay focused. Easier said than done right.

      Good.

This is the same way that I'm thinking about my Christmas holidays. I know right now that I need to put in massive amounts of work if I'm going to enjoy the holidays. Like you I'm going to kick into a very high gear and get the most that I can done.

      Keep hustling.

Not only is the biggest distraction but also the biggest brainwasher. We don't have a tv at home either but whenever our kids go over to their grandma's house, they spent a long time watching it. After being away for a couple of days, my son (10 years old) came back asking what brand of shampoo we used to then tell us that we had to buy X brand because it is the best and it does this to your hair. That's just one example but many of our relatives don't miss on watching the news every night and a lot of their conversations are about what could go wrong if you decide to do this or it is just best to stay at home where you will be safe.

I totally agree. There are so much more things we can get done if we did not waste our time doing things that don't make sense. Probably when I do get kids I might think about it, but I know for sure that I will be limiting their time on it.

The last time I watched TV there were so many things on there that made no sense. For me I rather focus on hustling and getting more done than watching and filling my mind with junk.

Thanks for the interesting points, but I have to admit it's not an easy thing trying to survive the last quarter of the year. I made some plans and I have some expectations how much I expect to earn every year. Then, if I see at the beginning of the 4th quarter that there's no way I'm gonna make it, I became extremely demotivated. At the same time, this is a period of a year where you're supposed to relax and enjoy all holidays with your family. Now, this is a great thing, if you were successful over the year, but if your plans failed, then you are going to be frustrated at the worst moment possible. So, it is really a tricky thing to survive this period of a year in both professional and personal way, lol. Thx. N
