The Only Three Questions That Count...

Well, I'm sure there are more questions that "count", but I stumbled across a book on investing by that title and thought the questions were interesting and am curious as to some of your answers to them:

* What do you believe that is actually false (or "what did you believe")
* What can you fathom that others find unfathomable
* What the heck is my brain doing to blindside me?

    Great questions. They go right to your soul. I suspect the answers will be different for each person and are totally personal. For me:

    1. That it takes hard work to achieve success.
    2. My ability to see the big picture (the answer to this is the key to your personal niche in life)
    3. Trying to convince me either by thinking logically or reacting emotionally. The trick is not to think or feel but to know.

      hmm. interesting.

      but then again. why wouldn't hard work be a prerequisite to success?

      i believe there are several 'ingredients' ... and hard work is not all, but definitely one of them.

      but back to the question.
      1. a stable job does necessarily not mean security for life
      2. acknowledging possibilities and seeing the big picture.
      3. (i think) my brain thinks of too many things at a go. makes it hard to focus and work well on the important tasks at hand.
