Becoming successful as an entrepreneur is like being a member of a elite society. In fact it is exactly like that. Because 99% of the world do not understand nor could they unless they were part of our society.

They were trained by 99% of the world that is poor to become one of them. This includes your grandparents, parents, cousins, aunts and uncles. As well as your girlfriend boyfriend husband wife.

They love you and mean well but they don't know....
  • About taking the constant risk of an entrepreneur
  • About the aching need to do something different
  • The DEATH thought of working for other people
  • The PASSION of seeing an idea flourish beyond the money
  • About having BIG DREAMS that are scary to others
Listen to people going through your experience not your love ones
Online now more than ever there are like minds from meetups.com to facebook groups. We no longer have the luxury of saying it is hard to meet people who relate to us. Facebook alone has over 700 MILLION groups.

They mean well but are well .... indirectly mean.

    forget the listening part. the real problem is telling people what your going to do hoping for some kind of permission or to hear the words . "that is a good idea "

    it still baffles my family that i make money doing what i do ..

    personally every takes risks ..the role of a business owner is to manage risks not just take them ..the biggest risk anyone can take today is have one source of income from a job ..how many people get sick and lose their jobs.. and lose everything..or get downsized and rightized or eliminated ..and have a dramatic reduction in lifestyle or lose of home and car

      But NEVER from this point on EVER ask your loved ones hoping for permission. NEVER even depend on them for your dreams but besides that your good

        on a side note if you physically work in Vegas ..I am one of the guys in a hangover costume on the strip ..when i moved to vegas last year ..it was on my to do list to try the costume thing.. would have been real hard to explain to people back home ..

        My family on the rare times i talk to them.. ask if i am looking for a real job while i do this thing and because i am not punching a clock ..it is not really working ..

        i have developed my character while i work.. and when i get money to get some gear i want to start a you tube comedy cooking channel .. but it is something i need to do to get good at haha ..then if it develops enough i want to travel around the world make content as i travel so everything become a write off haha .. but normal people do not understand how write off and profits really work

        as a note ..before i moved down here ..to Vegas ..i spent a few years telling people that i was planning to move some place much warmer where it didn't get cold enough to snow .. i have bi polar disorder and hi functioning autism.. and winter put me on the manic depressive mode that make it way to hard to keep a positive attitude and any kind of energy .. so when i am warm in warmer climate i have a better attitude and much more energy ..

        Never once in the years i explained to hundred of people that the onbious thing for me to do was to live somewhere much warmer ..did anyone get it no .. and when it was wintertime and the people i had told a hundred timed the cold weather made my bi polar disorder worse.. would be like why are you so moody .. you should get medicated.. no med for me again ..

    Totally agreed. The programmed ones will never understand my "Death" thought about working for someone else and the Passion I have in my heart to be self sustained, secure and successful. Right now I feel blessed to have read your post because you seem to me like one of the people going through what I have been experiencing for years. Thank YOU!

    Or which is more likely is they fire everyone else in the company and get the person that is left to do more and more before they burn out.

    And then fire them.

    I had a chat to my Mother yesterday, and she gets it now. So that is one.
