Just Start, Seriously. Actions Speak Louder Than Words.

The best thing you can do for anything you want to be good at is to take action. Even if you suck, just f**kn start, because when you start, at least you get the ball rolling.

You must take action because then at least youve done something and then some shit actually happens.

The time is now, whatever project you have. There is no excuse for not taking action right now. Honestly, even though I want you to read my article, taking action is more important so stop reading, stop proactively procrastinating and get started.

    I agree.

    Get started.

    Shoot. Then aim.

Too many people give themselves the EXCUSE that if they don't start PERFECTLY then they have no business starting at all.

    What a copout!

    Seriously.

Just start. Fine tune. Enjoy the ride. Don't expect to FLY out of the gate in perfection. That's not going to happen.

Instead, ENJOY THE JOURNEY by stepping out RIGHT NOW. One step forward at a time.

But just do is hard for some people. Why? All kinds of reasons. I think what this all comes down to is fear.

    - Fear you'll start something that you don't have the momentum to keep up.
    - Fear that your family and friends would prefer you to be using your spare time on something else.
    - Fear that you'll lose money, you don't have the resources etc...
-Fear you'll go on a journey that ends up in failure (In fact, many journeys lead to this path but it doesn't mean it won't be worth your while in order to learn and improve)

Cater to your fears first to break down the barrier.

    - Know yourself and your capabilities
    - Talk to the family/friend you're worried about judging you for 'going for it'
    - Save up and set a start-up budget

Only once you break down the barrier can you actually - 'just do'

most people spend most of their energies trying to stay the same or keep as much from changing around them as possible ..Unfortunatly we live in the age of disruption and we have changes that took 30-50 years not to long ago happening in years months or minutes .
so humans are not used to the rapid pace of change in today's world .. so that is behind more of the resistance to action than most any fear
