Apparently Microsoft is releasing this for w8 users as a free download.

And maybe XP users.

    Very interesting, but why would anyone use this, as Windows 8 users had a free upgrade to Windows 10?

    Interesting move on Microsoft's side.

    I read one theory as to why MS went from Windows 8 to 10 was to further distance themselves from Windows 8, as most folks did not like it. I upgraded from Windows 8 to 10, took a little bit of an adjustment but do prefer it over Windows 8.

    This guy has a video tutorial from 2015 on accessing Windows 9 , if you interested or missed the end of the free upgrade to Windows 10, which was last July.
