Jim Carrey Used Visualization and the Law of Attraction to Become a Successful Actor

Wonder what he is doing now ..whwn was the las movie he headlined made . that turned out to be a big success ..

i know vizualization help .. but i think in Jim carrys case .. hours and hours spent contorting his face might have helped more than the visualization ..on the other hand it did get him through the rough patch of being broke as hell .

it is very important to have something to focus on when thing are bad .

I think that I am going to overuse this word again, but
I will do it anyway. The word is "Action". You can't
just think something and have it happen. You Visualize
various aspects of what you need to do, but then you
must actually "Take Action" (my cliche').

As a Sport and Performance Psychology Consultant, I teach
visualization techniques to people in sport and business.

Visualization is often confused with sitting and trying to
be or do something that you are not capable of doing.
It actually may be considered a type of "Daydreaming"
as was mentioned in a previous post, but it is
daydreaming with a purpose.

What a visualization technique is meant to accomplish
is to:

1. Increase awareness of what you are doing, and how something is done.
2. Create a mental image of how you want to do something.
3. Imprinting that image or imagery in your mind so that
your focus shifts to that imagery when you are engaged in
that "Something".

This takes practicing the visualization technique. It is a focused effort
that must be practiced a few times in order to have an effect on
outcome. Done correctly, especially with professional guidance,
the results can be quite impressive.

how much time did he spend in front of a mirror practicing his faces.. and how long was he in stand up perfecting his comedy before he got into hollywood..

visualization is wonderful but a huge block to most people is putting in the time and effort to make it a reality ..

i have several very strong visualizations .. and the Law of Attraction is working with me ..at the same time .. both techniques point out the work you have to do .

look at how miserable a huge number of people are who are used to instant gratification ..

i am in a bad situation right now ..will not put the detail in this post.. in any case.. the aw of attraction stripped everything in my life away i didn't want any more ..and i'm pretty much left with nothing at the moment ..but at the same time i am losing weight , my physical health is improving day by day, i'm sleeping better than i have in a decade, and my stress level is very very low.. (i prefer positive spinning of situations verse positive thinking )

the power of Visualization of what you want in the future and goal setting.. only manifest when you start creating your present based of the life you want in the future .. and stop creating your present based off what happened in the past .

And all the dreamers will focus on the visualization part and ignore the hard work part, when it's the hard work part that is going to bring success. You can visualize all day long, but if you're too lazy to do the required work, you might as well believe in magic fairy dust.

I am a big believer in the law of attraction and the power of visualisation followed by intentional action.

The only thing I would add is the importance of feeling good, or in other words getting your vibration right. Your emotions are your guidance system telling you whether your vibration is in alignment with what you are working towards.

A bit out-there I know but for me this has been the game changer when it comes to the law of attraction. Perhaps it is because I tend to stress and worry about things unnecessarily, so for other people who tend to feel good most of the time this may not be of much importance.

If you feel good, inspiration flows to you. Momentum builds and working on manifesting your desires is a joy. Furthermore you believe in your ability to manifest your desires which adds further momentum towards their manifestation.

I love those videos. I've watched them several times in the past and they're always inspiring. I always liked Jim Carrey but gained a new level of respect for him after watching these. There are some very valuable lessons to be learned in those videos.

The law of attraction is very powerful if as long as you take action with what you visualize. Think And Grow Rich by Napolean Hill is my go-to book on attracting what you want.

I remember watching that video a long time ago. It hit home for me because he said at that time, it was the only thing good thing he had.

He visualized everyday and if you do that, the vision becomes more and more solid.

At that point the universe is like "Well, if you're going to work for it, I see clearly what you want, and i'll work on manifesting it".

Well, Napoleon Hill gave us 'Think, and Grow Rich' and I think I know what he was getting at, all of this visualisation, and creative meditation is not just about wishful imagining, but focusing your intentions - that is quite different to wistful longings.
If you hone, your mental attitude, and really refine your will, there is not much you cannot overcome, I have personal experience of this: When I was 36 I had very little, and I reached rock bottom, divorce and unemployment - I learned a whole new set of technologies, acquired a professional skill set, and turned my life around. Maybe I did not make 'millions' but I put myself in position to be able to help thousands of people make their living, and get information technology to work for them.
Never underestimate the power of your natural will to change your life.

Visualization is for real. If it doesn't make the mind CLICK when you visualize it, then let go. BUT if you can SEE it, it will come! What tickles me the most, is when you get better at it, you can manipulate reality. It's all about mental alertness and timing. Maybe it's not your FREDDO because you never believed or lost your faith down the road but sure as heck, the mind is a powerful machine.

The law of attraction is mislabeled. Success is due to persistence and it follows persistence. It's not really a law.

When your on a roll..your rolling.

I remember reaching enlightenment listening to a Megadeth CD collection.

I was a kid back then and due to disassociating with the crowd out there,
I started paving the path and digging inside the subconscious. What I saw,
were incredible things most not tied to this world. You see it's beyond music,
it's about creating "the feeling" to increase your vibrations.

Still I failed "to get the girl". But I resonated so much with the words of MDTH that gave birth to powers I never knew I had before. I fired up The Train of Consequences, and due to isolation and internal programming, I created a SHELL file inside an Amiga 500 computer that would beam messages to me to unlock any potential there was left at the time.

I also had an Amstrad 6128+ lined up with a printer (a side business when hit 16). Wet behind my ears I started using text to voice to trigger the machinations of the mind through direct messages.

That's what I called them back then: "direct messages".

Essentially, I was in charge of my future. Or so I thought .

The messages kept playing along with out of this realm, soothing music
along with the stupid voice of the Amiga 500. God dam it worked.

I lost my religion. Hahaha.

These messages increased my socialization skills to a more than acceptable level.

I created a worldwide network spanning across Europe. As boastful as it may
sound, things have changed since then and that's all she wrote.
