Sara Blakely is Proof that There's No Such Thing as a Bad Idea

One of my greatest sources of inspiration is this YouTube video of Sara Blakely, the founder of Spanx, speaking to a group of people at The Edge Connection in Atlanta, Georgia, about how she built her company from a $5,000 investment into a billion dollar empire in only ten years. Very early in this video, she describes listening to a speaker at a convention who stated he would prove to the room, in only four words, that there's no such thing as a bad idea: TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! Little did she know then, Sara would eventually go on to prove to the many early doubters, in only two words, that there's no such thing as a bad idea: FOOTLESS PANTYHOSE!

I highly recommend this video to anyone and everyone who may be doubting themselves and their current business ideas. This is a beautiful example of what is possible when you push past fear and doubt to persevere in the achievement of your goal.
