Getting in to STATE
If you know what I mean when I say "getting into state" then it would be great to have some feedback about how YOU do it.
Currently I do five things that I'm aware of:
- In the morning (and through out the day) I move more, with more purpose and more quickly
- Whilst I do this I breath more deeply, slowly, quietly, consistently
- Ensure that I'm not thinking any negative thoughts
- I have pictures of the house I'm going to live in and the girlfriend I'm going to get - which I look at and imagine being there.
- I try to stay relaxed (Psyching my self up creates a fight or flight state and unskillful emotions) - deliberately relaxing my muscles and breathing correctly
Doing these things put in an awesome, proactive, productive, outgoing, positive state of mind.
