Niche Domination 101 & The Art Of Working Smart NOT Hard! (My 1000th Post)

Hello Hello Hello,

Another exciting milestone in my Internet Marketing career which is that this is my 1000th post on the forum!

Why is that exciting?

Because as a result of that im going to be giving away some of my secrets to which make me $100's more dollars every month compared to what i use to make just by changing a few small things.

I call it niche domination 101 and the art of working smart not hard!

So lets get straight to it....

First off you need the right mindset for these methods to work, its easy to get and the method is even easier but simply thinking in the right manner will go a long way.

For this you need to start working smart and not hard.

Let's start off with a little story, last week i was speaking to someone who took link building to the extreme and paid $50 or so to spend the night in a hotel room so they could sit there for hours on end on their laptop building backlinks to their articles... great but after i introduced her to outsourcer's which you can pick up at $2 an hour (approx) she realized that the $50 she spent on one night in a hotel could have instead have been send for 25 hours of backlink building.

Now she hasn't stayed 1 night in that hotel room and instead just hires someone to do all her link building, while they are doing that she can write more articles and make more money or even better just spend the time with her family!

Simple change and at no loss to her either.

This is just an example of working smart and not hard... in fact its even working less and yet making more money and getting more done for your business!

Another example is another friend of mine who was writing article after article after article in a hot niche and that was it... no link building and he was writing about 10 articles non-stop everyday. After a month okay he made some good money but he had written about 300 articles and it was only the newer articles that were still making him money.

Not the best situation to be in!

This is what i would call actually working for your money... he was writing an article to earn a hundred or so from it for that month.

Then i introduced link building to him and seo to make it rank highly in the search engines. Since then he writes a few articles a week for new keyphrase and to get double listings in google and thats it!

He makes even more than before and is working less, next month he is also looking to hire a full time writer and a full time virtual assistant to help him out so that he works even less and can pick a more enjoyable niche for himself and they can write about those hot niches!

I know alot of people think that numbers is the key but then if you have just 1 article out there ranking for a highly searched term and its a buying keyphrase then you can earn 1000x more than someone who is there writing 10 articles a day!

Plus if you start by writing articles yourself and using other traffic strategy's such as...
  • Mass article submissions
  • Blog comments
  • Social bookmarking
  • RSS feed submits
  • Forum posting
  • etc etc etc
Then it works out cheaper for you to do the above and start off by employing someone to do the mundane task of link building for you at just $2 an hour. Much cheaper than hiring someone to write your articles at $5+ an article too.

Thats another example of working smart not hard! Plus by not paying someone to write your articles and instead you writing them and paying someone to build links to them so they climb the ranks means that in-fact you can then build them up and your saving money to make more money.

If you were struggling for money then to begin with you could even pay someone for 1 hours of link building at $2 and then outsource yourself as a writer for $5 an article which will take you less than an hour and then leave you in profit.

So by now you should be able to see just how working smart and not hard can make a big difference to you... even if you have $0 or if you have $1000. Outsourcing the hard work can help you

Just one other small point too... don't expect to make money overnight... ive spent the whole of this month setting up things that wont earn me any income for at least 3 more months!

That is because they are highly competitive keyphrases and i have invested enough money and time into them initially and setup backlinks to automatically appear everyday for the next 3 months + and get me top rankings during that time, when they do reach top i will make alot of money but until then its an investment.

Now onto my niche domination technique...

This does require a tool such as 'senuke' or something else that will create web 2.0 sites and accept spun versions of your titles!

You could also do this manually but as with everything manual it will take a while.
But lets first run through the basics so you get the idea of the method first!

In google and yahoo when you type slowly a keyphrase or search term slowly and don't press enter it comes up with more suggestions and longer versions of that keyphrase.

So for example if you had chosen to try and rank your website for the search term of say 'dog training'

You would get some of the following longer-tail keyphrases listed.....

Google -
dog training tips
dog training collars
dog training advice
dog training schools
dog training videos
dog training supplies
etc

Then the same for yahoo but it will give you suggestions of words before and after -
dog training basics
dog training commands
free dog training tips
dog training books
dog training equipment
etc

Now you have over 20 longer tail versions of the same intial keyphrase.

Now comes the more complicated part....

For those of you that spin your articles before or write multiple re-writes of your articles for different keyphrases this will be very interesting!

What you need to do is keep your main keyphrase in tact at all times! Which in this case is 'dog training'

Then we have the pre-words which so far are only 'free'

and the after words which if we take 4 examples are 'equipment','tips','collars' and 'commands'.

Now for the people who are spinning their articles you would format it like this!

{Pre-words|No word} Main Keyphrase {After Words|No word}

So using dog training and the examples above we would have....

{Free|} Dog Training {Equipment|Tips|Collars|Commands|}

That would then product a load of different variations and include your main keyphrase of 'dog training' as well as creation variations which would target your longertail keyphrase.

However a few points about using this!

Your article needs to be very generic to dog training in general and say that the link at the end will teach them about all aspects of dog training so that when people are searching only for dog training collars they still click through hoping to find information about the collars on the next page.

Also if one of the pre-word suggestions is Free then you may not want to use any pre-words simply as 'Free Dog Training Collars' as a title can never really be true. Plus most of the time unless your doing freebie cpa offers or building a list then the word free is never one to go for!

If you are not yet spinning your titles and using software to submit or just producing spun articles and then copy and pasting the spun version afterwards then you can just do this method manually and add in each word from the list as you go along!

Now when all of these appear in google you will have multiple listings not only for your main keyphrase but also will have high listings for those longertail keyphrase that not many people target simply because of their lower search count.

Meaning that you now have many incoming traffic sources from many different keywords from just that one single article and a few more minutes spent researching.

Hopefully you can see the power of niche domination 101 and the art of working smart and not hard!

Would appreciate all feedback and comments and will more than likely come back and add some more tips and tricks for this method later on but for now that gives you a million dollar method as a celebration of my 1000th post!

Thanks

    Tom,

Very nice information, I actually enjoyed reading through it, plus it was well written and easy on the eyes, Great stuff.

Thanks for sharing, I definetly got a gem from it, and it's probably something I would never have thought of (the spinning of title with different "long tail" variations + a blank space)

    Keep up the good stuff

      Thanks for that JP,

I wasn't sure how it would come out as i wrote it as i would talk to someone and try and explain it all.

Was going to go back and pad it out with images and such but it adds no value to the content or method, would just make it easier to digest for some.

I think the Number 1 tip for most methods is:
"First off you need the right mindset for these methods to work, its easy to get and the method is even easier but simply thinking in the right manner will go a long way."

Get that part down and the rest becomes much easier (not easy but easier)

      Your right!

Alot of people neglect the midset that is required to work online and tend to forget that even though your sat at home its still a business and a job that brings you in money. Just not a conventional job as such!
