Have you killed the distraction today?

Focus on being productive instead of busy.
When we are focused on our work and turn our attention to another task, we lose the momentum of the moment. And it will take several minutes to rescue the focus. That is why we must protect ourselves from interruptions when we need to do something important.

Depending on our emotional state, we go into different states of focus.

When we are stressed, strong emotions seize our attention and make us focus on what bothers us, not the work itself.

When we are uncommitted or bored, our mind wanders - this is also a state of poor performance. When we achieve full concentration, we give our best.

Understanding your emotions as quickly as possible at the moment and developing the ability to control your emotions makes all the difference in this aspect of distraction.

Not today, l am having a day off.

But yeah, key reason why the stupid new work ethic of having to stand to work at the computer is so silly.

You are trying to focus and have to stand and sit all day to get it done.

I sit and get up occasionally, and am a lot more productive.

Really, the important thing is to find for yourself what works best, since it achieves the necessary focus. I, for example, like to use the pomodoro technique.

agreed. how you execute a goal depends entirely on your current emotions, or the emotional habit you most live out.

  • To be honest, I started out a little distracted. But I focused on finishing one task at a time. So at least I'll get some things done even if I didn't really feel like working.

The important thing is to find the best focus method that works for you or that fits your day by day, keeping in mind what really matters and what will help you reach your goals.

I love distractions... I siphon information from everywhere you can IMAGINE.

He who works hard, has an issue (prolly) with organization skills.

I always have plenty of time in my hands, if you fancy that notion.

    Kill it every day.

Pomodoro Technique + Noise Cancelling Headphones + Classical music = my own world.

I also shut off email, social media and anything I don't need while working. My phone is almost always on silent and the rest of the world can wait until the timer goes off and I take my break for 5 to 15 minutes!
