Be better.
: )

Sometimes Life can be tough (really
tough) ...

For instance I've been through 1)
Social anxiety 2) Depression and 3)
Schizophrenia. However I'm happy
that I went through all those
experiences.

Why? Because they have helped made
me into the Person I am today. As you
probably know (if you read my posts)
one of my favourite quotations is this
one from Napoleon Hill ("Think And
Grow Rich"):

"Every adversity, every failure,
and every heartache carries with
it the seed of an equal or greater
benefit."

Now that isn't just some "positive
thinking" it's a wonderful truth
of Life. Overcoming my struggles has ...
Improved my Character ...
Rejuvenated my relationship with God
... Deepened my compassion and
empathy ... Made me more caring and
charitable ... And more appreciate and
grateful ...

So if you're going through a difficult time
at the moment (and/or you're kind of bitter
about Life) then just remember:

You can learn something from everything.

    Good for you, Jonathan.

    Happiness comes from the inside.

If you are happy, then you have all the wealth you'll ever need.

And you can spend it as you see fit, bringing joy, and happiness
    wherever life leads you.

A kindness to one is like the ripple on a pond. It touches everybody.

Have you ever heard the saying "you either win or you learn?"
Or the popular "you have to fail forward"?
I'm sure you understand the idea of using situations, good and bad, as learning experiences, but that's easier said than done, right?

Reminds me of one of my favourite quotations

      Failure."
(Search Google for the whole quotation.)

Definitely. It is easier said than done. However
so are all the most important lessons in Life.

Wow. I'm impressed. I can't believe you went through all of that. I'm a graduate of Psychology and I understand how tricky our minds can be. It's very inspiring that you were able to get help and healing from it all. I know there's not a lot of people who were successful with dealing with their own problems that they succumb to insanity or suicide. Keep it up. Have faith and trust in God always.

      Thanks Jessica. : )

I've had many difficult experiences since I was diagnosed at 20 and was suicidal a couple of times.

However with the help of my Family (and Social Services) I've been able to overcome my illness and, in fact, benefit greatly from it. : )

The last time I was in Hospital (several months ago) I began working on a Website idea titled: "HopeAndAdvice.com". (Not online yet.) Essentially it's everything I have learned--in the form of 11 Tips with inspiring quotations--from overcoming my illness ...

It's difficult to choose a favourite however here's one of them:

      Tip 3:

You can't change the past, however, you can change the way you think about the past. Like a shadow that disappears when you shine a light on it, you can choose to see your past as something positive that you can learn from.

Why the sad face? There is no such thing as ordinary. Everybody is unique. I believe you can do it! Not necessarily in the form of a website but in whatever way you can. This world is suffering so much we need all the help we can get in order to heal it.

Yes, His Word always tells us something new EVERY time. Each of us has a purpose and there is a time and a purpose for everything that happens to us. I always refer back to the Bible and other translations for me to confirm what is written on books about spirituality.

anyway the drug companies can get you on expensive medication for life they will.. hell with curing people they have revenue to generate ..processed food companies fill the store shelve with nutrition depleted food-like substances , that is designed to get people addicted to the food . well you can easily tell people it is there fault for eating that crap .

and farmers are subsidized by the government to grow to much af few types of crops in order to feed the chain ..

i refuse to call my bi polar disorder or high functioning autism .. illnesses . i am also very sensitive to changes in the environment .. al of it is just condition i have to work with to find the best .. unfortunately i spent 36 year or wasted .. trying to fix my condition and try to be normal and i have only really spent the last three years figuring out the best condition for me and my own conditions to be in..

rather the western education machine has been trying to pump out interchangeable standardized people for the last hundred years . people who could do the repetitive work that machines and robots had not yet been designed to do ..and even though the system itself is what is brocken. It has to make those who can't be molded into standardized interchangable people.. feel like they are the ones who are broken .

there is a huge jump in the number of people nd young people with bi polar disorder . and autim spectrum case have gone from like 1-300 i thin now it may be one in 10 or 1 in 6 ..

it's not an epidemic it's an invasion that will tear the system down.. and replace it .

        there are no standardized people

P.S . John the key was in your post as you have turned what was an illness into something that now benifits you

I could be wrong however I think it's not what happens
to a Person, ... It's how they respond that counts .... In fact
the more a Person goes through difficulties the stronger
          they become ...

there is only so much people can take before they break and never really recover .

yes it is how a person responds that matters ..but most get stuck in condition patterns of response so they respond the same way to the same events ..but try to change the event or all other factors beside their responses .

I have had to work through a long list of thing the last 18 months ..so many not so fun things .. but i am a teacher .. so i had to learn my own lessons before i could teach .

teach my own brand of spirituality which will probably give the pillow sitting crystal lickers .. ommmers fits and not so happy thoughts ..hehe
