Coach or mentor wanted - your input please

I would say that the first part is nonsence, l don't have any mentor, and can produce high end flyers quicker than the odd 15k of my competitors in GR.

I found that edge through 9 years of hard work, struggle and adversity, and eventhough Robert Koyosaki, Edison and Henry Ford, inspired me, and gave me some good business ideas, they weren't the source of that.

I think that you need to get rid of the idea, that you need a mentor to succeed.

You need to be stobburn, persistent and develop the ability to change tracks when needed.

The two sales are good, but unless you make a profit over expenses, then it isn't so much.

I spend a good year or so with PPC, and got plenty of sales, l also tried to develop software and made over 1k in sales, but both ended up making a pittance, so couldn't be scaled.


I mean l have someone on a graphic forum asking me about his latest flyer, and l offer advise when l can, for free, but when l started out there l had almost 10 rejects to get one in, and took quite a while to figure out what the mods wanted?

Most there only manage 4 flyers accepted a month, and l recently managed 27, with plenty of sales, and helped a few get their first flyer accepted.

But l have no interest in being a mentor, l guess that it goes with the territory. But it is nice to help others get over the initial hump.

Most coaches, etc l have followed, dragged out their monthy subscriptions and didn't offer much, or sold products that didn't offer much.

That is the thing, why would someone who is raking it in, help someone who isn't?

Unless he is selling something that isn't that effective, or is asking serious amounts?

No, best to come here, and ask questions, because just like l would never answer a newbie, if they asked how could l get 27 flyers through in a month, a successful IM,er will never devolge how he makes ?k a month doing whatever.

Come here ask questions, and get some advise, and Google the rest, or figure it out yourself.

And maybe occasionally a seasoned IM may give you too much of his advise!

tagiscom - for me, a mentor does not provide the "answer", if one even exists. Rather, they help the individual on their own journey by asking the right questions, challenging them and providing timely motivation.

Further, most mentors are not in it for the money. They have often achieved much of what they want to and wish to give back in true Maslow fashion.

Anyhow, I'll continue on WF. I realise most mentor-mentee relationships are formed out over time and not from a single post. Figured I'd try on the off chance that someone had a recommendation from previous experience...

True, l have only achieved sales outcomes, above projections for May and June, and only been 5 sales behind estimated unit sale projections for July, August, so l am no expert.

Asking the right questions, challenging them, motivation, Yuck, no count me out.

I give a newbie straight answers, when they ask, what is wrong with this, the rest is up to them, l didn't have a mentor when l started, it was all hard work, til l figured out what they wanted, and how they wanted it.

Not in it for the money,.....prffff, no l have too many other things to do when l reach that point, save the world, untie kittens, etc, so l will do a free PDF?
