The way you think, you become.

Think positive, act positive and talk positive. So, you see positive in everything.

You have patience and you win again to lift yourself one step ahead. Top of all, ups and downs are part of life. Your attitude defines yourself and you stay positive all the time with your friends, family an clients.

    Cheers,

I think that's the wrong question.

Being positive isn't necessary for success. Being busy is necessary.

Meeting deadline, keeping promises made, taking on hard tasks....

To many really wealthy people, it isn't about "staying positive", it's about being uncomfortable being poor.

Ask a real millionaire about staying positive....if you want to know the answer. I think the answer will surprise you.

Thanks for the insight Claude. I think you provided a very unique perspective. I do think maintaining a positive mindsight is important in many facets of life, but you are right, the thought of being poor and not being able to support my family is certainly a huge motivating factor.

Success doesn't necessarily involve being a millionaire.
      • A pilot lands a plane.
      • A teacher gets an award for teacher of the year.
      • A sports team wins a game.

BTW, there's billionaires that bank by being negative.

Claude love your ask a real millionaire phrase.

before the rules changes in Las Vegas that where put in place to put us street performers out of business.. put me out of business ..a few months ago .. i learned a lot from the hustle of grinding every day to put a roof over my head .

if you neeed to feel like it to work, if you need to be motivated .. get a job . there was no one i could call in sick to and if ithe money was crap it was one thing explaining that to my property manager .. but could not say the rent would be late because i did not feel like working or was no motivated enough .. I limped around on a swollen knee or walked around for weeks with blisters on my feet ..

I learned a hell of a lot in the time i was doing that ..the 16 months.. that i will incorperate into the business i build once i recover from this ..

what i know studying wealthy people ..is if they wake up feeling shitty and not so positive nad and what ever pile of negative .. they start working .

    Hi Scott,

Doing things for fun, from an energy of love, not fear, helps me stay high energy.

Oh yeah; diving into my fears too.

1-2 dance, that I do daily, keeps my energy vibing high.

My most key activity though is my Power 40 minutes on waking.

20 minutes meditation. 20 minutes yoga. Plus a 30 second icy cold shower.

Fab routine for purging fear and raising the love in my being, which was always there, but which I have let out more freely over the past 6 months.

I've tried this earlier this morning. It was uplifting and really enhanced my mood for the whole day. However, is it fine to do this with some calming music like say Duke Ellington's?

    Geesh, newbie question.

You know what you can be the most miserable, broke, ars****e on the planet and as long as you keep going, change tracks when you think that your competency level is high enough, and ignore stupid advise, you will still end up rich.

    Plenty of rich ars****es around.

This also explains why the successful, also seem to be very serious, or slightly angry.

It is not that they are nasty people, (me included) it is just that they know that it will work, and are treating it like a real business, not a hobby.

A bit like an artist messing up. Someone doing it as a hobby will throw it on the floor and walk out. A professional will throw it on the ground, and probably destroy some of his other work, then probably go on an all night bender.

The first person doesn't care how much they will make the second does!

But yeah, staying positive is self help BS, continuing to try regardless is the most important trait.

They don't have a system(process) that works and run out of funds before they figure it out or they give up after too much failure.

I think what Brent said is totally valid as well. Some people are never meant to run their own business.

I have worked in many niches. But in all honesty I used to find it hard to stay motivated and positive. I realised that money isn't always the motivator for me.

In 2010 I was making $1000 a day online. It was good but the niche wasn't inspiring me and I dropped it to create something else that didn't actually work, but weirdly, I was happier and more positive building something in an industry I was passionate about.

Sadly it really didn't work and I lost time and money but learnt a lot. We fail but it's just research and even though I got down about it, I am now grateful for that experience and realise that it's just part of business.

Now I have built a business in the health and fitness industry using the skills and knowledge I have acquired over the past 10 years or so online.

So to answer the question, I stay positive because I am working in an industry that's genuinely changing peoples lives. Helping others in all areas.

Our clients lose weight, gain confidence and become healthier. (Happy with that keeps me positive).
Our affiliates make money (Happy with that keeps me positive)
We build a company and a brand that can go HUGE and that's what keeps me going.

Business can be rough. There will be hurdles. There will be struggles. But keep going through all this because everything is a learning curve designed to help you achieve success - ultimately!

the power of "positive thinking" is overstimated.

Building your reality on the thoughts is like building an house onto sands.

Your Life, Business, Relationship has to be built into the Being, i mean the Pure Consciousness which can easily be achieved with Transcedental Meditation.

You can, in fact, overthink that "you are a King", but if your all body, feelings, mind, realize every day that you're so far than be a king, you're only try to trick yourself.

Positive Thinking is like suggestion: a method to put your intelect in a corner, and force yourself to believe something you know it's not true.

It's far better immerse yourself in the bliss of your Self, and grow every aspect of your personality in an armonic way, having a good mood to ACT and not to PRETEND.

It's like having a real business or pretend to be a successful marketer while you struggle to pay the bills, through repeating some suggestions in front of a mirror.

You can repeat yourself that you're like Frank Kern, but it's not true, and you know.
It's better envelop your Self through meditation and leverage who you really are, from the position you currently are, to what you could be.

So start meditating, it's far better than self-hypnosis via positive thinking.

I think right mind set is very important. When I started out there, I tough I need only "how-to" knowledge in order to succeed online. But I was wrong....
Along the way, problem will appear, and to overcame this problems you need to have right mindset. So in my opinion it is also very important, to develop a habit to read mindset and personal development books every day.

  • Enjoying the fruits of my labor keeps me positive. The fact that I can attend my daughter's band recital without having to worry about work . Or that I'm not in the same rat race most people my age are still in. That for me is more than enough =)

Making sure that the partridge is in a pear tree, and the cat is in the cradle of course.

But being busy is not necessarily important, anyone can be busy online and get no-where apart from learning that what they are doing isn't working, etc.

I worked on a website for over 2 years, and was very busy, l got no-where with it, apart from learning how to build a info, site from scratch.

Putting your ego, and misinformation and preconceived ideas in a box, and thinking critically about what you are doing, then working hard is more important, or even critical to online success.

Madam Curie, could have messed about for years, theorizing about a new element, or listened to her stupid male scientist colleagues, to go back to the kitchen, but she thought critically and realized that spending years whittling the radium out of Tar from a bog, (if l remember correctly) would give her the new element.

Critical thinking and hard work, has its place, but it has to be true critical thinking, not distorted by emotional baggage or other hindrances.

I do think that not being poor is, at least in part, a major incentive
for many people to strive for riches, but it is not the only thing.

Power, being "Top Dog", the testosterone battle (my thing is bigger and better than yours),
and the "I'll show you" individuals are a few more reasons why people are driven
    to success.

It is the "Driven" part that actually makes the success happen. Claude has
already mentioned it when he said "...being busy is necessary". That is
the bottom line in any success. It takes work.

Years ago you worked or died. In today's "Developed and industrialized"
societies, it seems like there is this "Whining Reflex" that happens at
    the mere mention of work.

Positive mindset? I'm positive that much of what I try is not
going to work, but what does will bring me satisfaction and
    a very decent living.
