I've read several books that did change my life.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki
Think And Grow Rich - Napolean
The 7 habits of highly-effective people - Stephen Covey

So what are some books that have changed your life?

This is not a book but is similar. I have read lots of books and this has changed my life more than any book I have ever read. It is this site: Morning Messages Go there and watch the video on the front page. Then subscribe to their list. They have 88 short messages and they send one every 3 days. It takes around 5 minutes to read it. I am very grateful to them.

    1) Rich Dad, Poor Dad:

It rocked my world. Completely changed the way I saw money -though I was doing some of the things he recommends purely on "instinct".

    2) The Long Tail:

You don't need to be the next YouTube to become an internet millionaire (which I'm not... yet) Keep it small and keep it all!

    3) Ready Fire Aim:

Don't spend too much time working on a project if you don't know if there's a market for it. Priceless.

Here are three big ones for me:

      Four Hour Work Week

which btw is coming out with a revised edition soon.

      Way of the Peaceful Warrior

not really a business book, but it WILL change your life.

      The Game by Neil Strauss

Again not really a business book, i mean all the guys in that book run successful businesses and I've met quite a few of them, but it's more a good read to *get* what it means to approach any challenge as a system that can be understood and mastered

I read many books, so there are to many to list because they have all changed my life for the better.

However, here are just a few:

Rich Dad, Poor Dad Series- Robert Kiyosaki
Think And Grow Rich - Napolean Hill
Failing Forward - John C Maxwell
The Science of Getting Rich - Wallace D. Wattles
Working With The Law - Raymond Holliwell
Eat That Frog - Brian Tracy

Also, I would like to mention the 21st Century Version of Think and Grow Rich. It's called Three Feet From Gold: Turn Your Obstacles Into Opportunities by Greg Reid and Sharon Lechter. I highly recommend this book because of the modern day successes it talks about in the book.

"Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and "The Secret"

I once was in a bar in Denver and Robert Kiyosaki walked in. He had so many great stories. The funniest was about him shooting goats from a helicopter, and the tracer bullets would set them on fire. Kim came in to get him and the party was over. LOL Robert is a great guy!

A great little known read is Notes from a friend by Anthony Robbins. Being a warrior you are obviously already motivated and it is hard to recommend something to a friend when they need help. This is a great 100 page easy read - ahhhaaa book. Plus he donates the profit to charity.

My mother hit me on the head with it when I was 6 and since then my life has never been the same. LOL!

I'm in the process of re-reading "Think and Grow Rich" right now as homework before heading off to a big in-person conference in Vegas the beginning of November.

I'm also listening to the audio book version during part of the day while I'm working.

It is amazing how I can still hear something new in Hill's words, even though this is not the first time I have read it or listened to the book.

I guess the really good books are like that, though. Maybe we are not ready to hear something the first time we read the words. Maybe later on, after we have gone through certain situations, we are more open to receive those words and learn from them.

When you start reading books like that you make a more complex vision of the world. I have read 10s of book on this matter and have around 5 that I like the most. Think & Grow Rich is definitely the most inspirational and gives you a feeling that you know some kind of a secret, it gets you going. Great stuff.
