If you want to grow an online business and make the type of money to quit your day job, then you need to change your mindset. We'll take a look at three things you can implement today and start seeing the growth you want in your online business.

Create Value

If there's one thing that will allow you to make any amount of money you want online it's creating value for other people. Whether you want to be a freelancer or you want to create products, the only way you'll make money online is to create value for other people.

How do you create value?

By figuring out what people need and giving them a valuable solution. Products that make money online are products that help to solve a person's problem the best. Figure out what they need and give it to them.

Put them first and money will come after.

Enjoy The Process

Many people don't like this part of building a business. We want to quit our day jobs, but we don't want the pain that comes with putting in the work to build a business. We want the glory, but we don't have the guts to go through the process.

Being able to travel the world and work on a computer is what we want, but we don't want the long hours that go into building the lifestyle.

As human we rather pleasure over pain and pain is what it takes to really make this online thing work.

If one can learn to love the process then there is no limit to the amount of money you can make online.

HARD WORK!

The last tip is work hard and when you think you've worked hard work harder. Building anything valuable is going to take lots of your time and you have to become comfortable with that.

Stop worrying about what other people think and just keep working on the things you know you need to be working on. Work hard and go through the process. If you can sit down and just put in the work you can accomplish more than many people will in a year.

Start focusing and stop worrying with all of the things that don't move you closer to your goals. In everything that you do online keep your goals first.

Conclusion

So remember to create value, enjoy the process and work hard. Now I know these aren't groundbreaking tips, but it's always good to be encouraged. If you are working hard now to build your online business and you feel like you can't press on I'm here to tell you keep pressing.

This is one of the best posts that I have ever seen on this forum. When I first started my business, it was hard to get support from family and friends. I studied Radiology for five years, passed my national boards for both Radiology and Computed Tomography (CT scans), and worked in the medical field for about 9 months. People couldn't understand why I wanted to leave all of that behind to start my own thing. It has been almost a year since I started my entrepreneurial journey and I have never looked back once.

I was driven to begin a business simply for the freedom. The freedom to be my own boss and not have to do what my boss told me to do. The freedom to eventually travel the world whenever I wanted to and not have to wait for someone to approve vacation days that I could take. It all seemed surreal to me.

Of course, whenever I started my own business, I knew it was going to be a lot of work. But, I never really knew how hard it could actually be. I have had more sleepless nights during my entrepreneurial journey than I ever did while I was in college. But knowing that one day I will have the freedom to do whatever I wanted with my future children always pushed me to succeed.

I love how you mentioned loving the process of building a business. I believe this is the number one thing that people never think about when they are starting their own business. A lot of people choose something to do because they think they will make a lot of money doing it, but they never actually enjoy what they are doing. They are simply just doing it for the money. I believe that if someone is going to truly succeed in business, they have to love what they are doing.

I also want to mention that if someone is looking for any kind of support, guidance, or even inspiration, this is the best forum to be on. Whenever I get discouraged, I love to get on here and read other people's success stories or their words of wisdom. It gives me the strength to push on every single day. Because one day, I want people to hear my success story and be inspired by it.

I know what you mean. I had to deal with the same thing in the beginning. Many people would tell me that online thing is a scam.

You see everybody in your life has an idea of what you should do with your life. The only thing that matters is what you want to do with your life. Everyone wants you to be the doctor or a lawyer and the truth is if that's what you want to do, then go for it. If it's not something you want you'll be very unhappy for the rest of your life.

You have to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. The quicker you develop this skill the faster you'll make progress.

Alot of people just buy a product, try a couple things and then say it's all a scam. I know, I was there. What changed for me was the first time I made some money. From that first paypal email until now I've been hooked.

Many people this online marketing thing is easy. IT'S HARD! Probably one of the hardest things you can do with your life, but if you stick with it the rewards are HUGE!

      STICK WITH IT!

A gold thread followed by a golden response. I couldn't agree more, albeit im still in the beginning/noob stage.

I thought the same thing, too. When I saw most of my favorite self help gurus on Youtube living this lifestyle, I always thought that it was impossible, and only for a select few people. To tell you the truth, it is for the select few that are willing to go the distance, but it is achievable by anyone that is willing.

I'm so grateful for bodybuilding, it's taught me so many principles that can be translated to IM and true independence. I've got a ways to go, but just like anyone looking to benchpress 135lbs for the first time, you always have to start with the bar, 45lbs.

Loving this community. Heres to the gains!!

here is the problem .. i agree with you on the grind ..but the laptop lifestyle .. 90 percent of people who here that .. don't understand how much they really need in the bank or to be bringing in each month to really live that..

the cool part is you can live really nice many places that are safe to live and have affordable health care .. for $2,000 Usd a month and be considered rich .. that with $600 a month for a nice place to rent and $200-$400 a month for a maid ..and you can probably expense all of it to your business ..

Being rich comes down to where you live like you said. You could live in a country where being rich means making $500 or whatever. The biggest payoff of this online thing is being able to do your own thing, on your own time and not have to answer to nobody but your customers.

you missed what i was saying.. you can build the life you want well before you hit that point of being rich .. whatever that means..

the median income of a ct san technologist or what ever drip revenue went to school to do ..is 62,000-75,000 USD a year..but as he said or she.. it took 5 years of extra schooling past having to do really well k-12 ..and we don't need drip to quote how much tuition or debt he or she had to build up ..

look how much work and the number of different skill skills to learn through school and cost to make 60-80 grand a year .. and have to punch a clock ..

so to fill in what usually is missing with the original post you put here .. if someone want to make the 6 figure plus a year muney in a business .. they need to put in the work and the time to build those skills .. man people think they can skip it ... look at the time and money and effort someone needs to put in to get a 6 figure job ..

expect to take 3-5 years and put in a lot of effort to build the needed skills ... no magic automated system ..

most people you build online incomes online fast .. have offline skill sets that they can move online

and not taking away from drip.. but he/she has 2 things in their favor .. .they did not have the expense creep people get after years of working .. and they have skill set that if they need to they can get a job pretty much anywhere they chose to live ..if the online income does not build fast enough
