Why you should Build the relationship online before you go for the sale

There has to be a trade off between yourself and your customer . The "trade off" is a benefit where a problem is solved trust is established and sales are made.
Some of you focus on ROI but I like to go better. I like to focus on the movement and skilkset that lead me to make that sale in the first place.

Online marketing is very relational ,fast paced and ooinionated. But hey,if you want to find that balance here you must first understand the law of attraction and the behind the scenes work that is given birth known as "results." We all want a result one way or the other if not why bother marketing in the first place ?

No matter what techniques you use to get sales there is no denying the fact that some form of trust has been built ,value given before closing of the sale.

Let me see a show of hands of how many of you wave magic wands and sales appear .Not one of you can do that .

So obviously it takes, craft time, strategy and effort to get it done .

No one in this forum living the internet lifestyle made any progress without giving .So if you aren't hosting prize giveaways, sweepstakes,my point is that you are giving at times without earning a buck in the short run .To give is to plant a seed that will not grow into a full blown tree right away but rest Assured that tree will grow when you nurture it.
So you aren't going to make sales allday everyday, there will be days when you must alter and adjust to align your goals with the cjdtomers buying habits

I became rich with Cosmic Master Hypnosis.

    Did I build relationships - that's a resounding NO.

I don't have time for that.

His mega money making spell on youtube made me 2K.

It was unexpected and a joy to live this experience.

I started believing in him. Never looked back ever since.

    Hi Jamel,

    Exactly buddy.

I feel the online bit is a waste if you build no bonds. A bit empty, boring and lifeless. Bleh. Plus as you move up in circles you need relationships with power brokers in your niche.Impossible to reach the true upper echelon unless you build bonds with big dawgs, who then open doors for you.

Manipulating folks or trying to avoid bond-building entirely only gets you so far. Beyond that you need to reach out, to help folks, in order to succeed online.

i agree that reaching out is important however i disagree that i"d have to reach out to the "big dawgs" to reach a higher status . Care to back up your claims ?

  • I believe that the more people you can help on the internet, the more money you can make in the long run.
So, for now, you should focus on helping your customers and or visitors instead of just printing money from them.

Agreed. People first! Good sales people hate being sold to. I use alot of live chat on my website, it works. I engage in conversation and sometimes it leads to a sale I wouldn't have probably made "automatically".

Agree with Ben and think even though it's an online marketing world folks will still value good engagement and customer service along with a service or product they want to buy. Some things stay consistent and that is you must provide service to go with your online support.

Very true and no matter if it's an online of offline business the relationship with your prospects is crucial in any business...but let's admit that there are people in the IM affiliate space that make a ton of money just by putting the right offers in front of the right people (arbitrage) on autopilot, no list, no hassle, just pure online promotion simple but effective ..their only problem would be that they are not building any asset...
