I was in a similar situation and what worked for me was choosing an venture/project that I was "passionate" about. (I know ― you have probably heard that before however it really does make a World of difference.) Choose something that makes you feel alive and willing to work on even when you don't necessarily feel like it.

I've been trying to get in the habit of creating a work schedule, and going to bed at the same time. Doesn't always work but I keep to the schedule pretty good.

if you are going to do nothing at least get out of your apartment and into fresh air ..and walk around a park or something .. listening to music on your phone .. and start collecting aluminum cans like homeless people to make extra money ..

it will give you practice for the future if you keep doing nothing when you have bills that are not getting paid.. or just go homeless for a while and pay for a year subscription at a fitness club ..so you have a place to shower every day .. then pay for a place to store clothing .. and buy a car you can pay for with cash to live in and insure that for a year..

look basic financial freedom.. no bills to pay .. place to sleep and shower .. ..then just worry about food ..

You should take a break from I.M. and get a job. 1 or 2 things could be going wrong. You do not have the skills at this time to make money online. Or you have other under lying problems. The only way to relieve some stress is take a job some where. This will help you pay down some of your debt's and ease some pressure. Not everyone is cut out to make it online.

Yap! Please don't waste your time doing such things that you can't able to take with death. Focus on your health.

Step one. Assessment. Where are you? I can only guess, UK or Oz, because of your use of "mates". So you begin with where you are at. Physical location.

Then, your ASSETS. We see you have several, that is, you are on this forum which tells us you have a computer, phone, or pad of some kind and Internet access. So you can connect to Internet.

That is asset ONE. You have email. You've done some things, so that is some knowledge of the WWW, or Internet. You can search, use Google, etc.

Now what you need, right now...are small victories. Small successes. You look around, and SEE what other assets you have. Do you have a TV? Any personal property? Any games? If so, then SELL them, on either your version of Craigslist or eBay, on craigslist it costs nothing to list items, on eBay you pay once the transaction is made.

IF you have absolutely nothing to sell, then you walk around your neighborhood on bin day, trash day or garbage day, whatever you call it. LOOK for things that have been discarded, anything. You can make this part of your get out of the house and exercise and get some fresh air day.

IF there is anything you think has any value, take it home and try to make a couple of bucks. Also, if you do sell your tv or game console, or anything, look for yard sales, garage sales while you are dumpster diving.

The point? Get yourself in the small habit, just an hour a day...to look for STORED VALUE items. Can't make any money doing that? Tell it to the fleamarketflipper guy, who made over 100k last year, and last month did over 7500 flipping stuff. Google him.

He just did 1000 bux from FREE stuff he found, CURBSIDE junk, or throw away stuff.

What could you do with 1,000.00 for your IM?

The problem is, you need small success to build off of. You need to go in motion, do small energy tasks.

The going out and about on trash day is an energy building exercise. And it has some potential to make you some money.

As for online. You need small victories. Fellow warrior Barb Ling has sold ONE PAGE CHEATSHEETS, for dime sale prices, 3 and 4 dollars. Not long ago, because she is an affiliate worker, turned one small ONE PAGE pdf into over 4,000 dollars in less than 30 days, and none of those tools cost you anything, so join JVzoo, WarriorPlus, clickbank. SOME small steps which don't take any money, very little time and almost no energy.

MOTIVATION as was said half a century ago by Earl Nightengale, comes from the ANTICIPATION of a reward.

You move toward a goal, as you want the reward. You want big rewards from very little effort, but examine what you did with your Shopify and other IM efforts. You made the motion, you made the effort...

BUT...

you didn't get any reward, mainly because it wasn't defined. You wanted money. But you lacked plans and execution.

So, you could start with a small HOTSHEET, or cheatsheet like Barb Ling has. Google her (google and search engines are another ASSET you have at your fingertips).

And that is where the LEVERAGE COMES in, when you are an affiliate, like Barb and many other people, I remember getting offers about her Cheatsheet from several of her affiliates, because I am on several lists. As I'm sure you are too.

See. You have some, maybe too many excuses and are too willing to place the blame on family and circumstances.

If you want to break out of your depression and situation, you don't need to take MASSIVE ACTION like too many wannabee gurus (here in the mind warrior section especially)....

NO, you need to take small actions, small steps BUT GET RESULTS. Getting a dollar or two from a one page report or cheatsheet, hotsheet, instructions or whatever is DOABLE.

Finding something on the curb, is doable. I've got two things listed today on Craigslist which other people threw away, I expect 45 bux before the day is over, for doing nothing more than resucing the items for the curb and taking all of 5 minutes to post on craigslist. I didn't even get exhausted from all that effort either.

But, I may still take an afternoon nap. Big deal, 45 bux for 10 minutes. Well, 45 pays for my Kindle, or 3 months of Prime. It buys me PLR, which I can rebrand and sell. I pay a whopping 2.95 a month for my "free" website which has generated tens of thousands of dollars of profit, mainly because I lack excuses and don't blame my sorry family.

You have to start where you are at.

With what you have.

Know where you want to go. (No nebulous ideas, no wandering, if you go outside, and head for the nearest park, then at least you have a clear desination, why not start this week and try to earn 10 dollars, from either selling something, doing something for someone, even finding something and flipping it>).

A SMALL VICTORY. A small no energy, small amount of time success.

Set a small goal. And do as Earl Nightengale said long ago, MOVE toward it in the anticipation. What will 10 bux buy you at the end of the week? Maybe a pizza? Work a little bit everyday with the idea you WANT to get that, whatever it is. NOT a thousand dollars. NOT a hundred bux.

Just make 10 friggin dollars in the next five days. And you have begun a HABIT OF daily activity working toward a goal Hit the small goal, because you KNOW YOU CAN.

And maybe next week aim for a pizza and bucket of chicken. Or an ice cream sunday.

Then maybe a nice dinner out. And watch your energy increase, your income pick up little by little, and the world begins to look a little bit brighter BECAUSE you are taking little actions, routinely with a goal in mind.

Then you simply increase the goal because you know you can do a little bit more.

Hope this has given a bit of practical motivation along with a little ass kicking. But, either way, it is up to you, OK?

I am definitely giving a strange line of advice .. the behavior the OP (supreme guy) has a probable eventuality of at least temporary homelessness sleeping on friends couches or what ever . and his problem is not really not having money.. that is a huge excuse .. if he ran into many of the people i have in the last two years.. he would be thankful for the family he grew up wih ..as they could have been far worse ..does not mean he has to interact with them now .. but they got him to adult hood..now it's time to be an adult .. and do what you need to do to pay your bills..

or live the life of a homeless person backpacker ..or someone with very little responsibility ..now if he is not an alcoholic/drug addict /mentally ill .. it should not last to long..

the main reason he has no focus or energy .. is he yet to sort out what he actually wants ..and put in the effort to get it ..

you can give him a million dollars.. or 1,000 or any amount .. and it will slip away and go uninvested untill he does the personal work to figure out what he really wants ..

honestly i was in his spot for over a decade .. so i am kind of getting the chance to give advice to a younger version of myself.. and the no money excuse works great .. but once you figure out whar you want or what really matters to you to have .. it may take a fraction of the actual money you need .. you just don't want to be in a spot where it is hard to earn money at all when you figure it out .

Your problem isn't that you lack focus.

You have no money, you don't feel motivated. But you have the same problems everyone else has. Everyone has relatives that are negative. Everyone has a problem being motivated, doing something they don't love doing.

Your problem is that you aren't in enough pain to do something about it.

You drink tea and then watch videos? You are living the life you find comfortable right now, otherwise you'd do something about it already. You're lazy because you still have tea to drink, heat to keep you warm, and food to eat. I'm not asking, I know it's true.

You aren't feeling enough anguish...pain....to change how you spend your day.

You need a job with a time you need to show up. That's what you need. Not motivation..not focus...a job. Just get one, it doesn't matter what it is. And you'll have to show up.

After a month or so, you may hate it enough to do something about it. But right now, you're too comfortable wasting your day.

Nov, 2017, lol, l have been online for 10 years, and have just started to make it cough up.

As for your family, no surprizes there, the longer you take the more they will ram the "Find a dumb job" mantra, since that is all they know.

And for some silly reason working in a menial job, til l am 6 feet under doesn't really inspire me.

Ignore them they will come around when you plonk a few greenbacks on the table.

Shitty broke, lol, sure several times, being scammed a few years back and maxing out my Credit Card, was the worst. But it made me a better business person.

I havn't succeeded yet, but believe that l am on the right track now, so eventually.

Stay focused, pretty easy, l tend to collect tropical holiday bits on tv, and watch that occasionally, and drewel when l see a BMW, etc.

If you are behind paying the bills and that is your main problem, then find a way to pay the bills first.

Going on Youtube and watching comedy videos won't do that.

Instead, spend that time to take up a part time job to help with the bills first while you squeeze in the remaining time to building your online business.

If you can identify the root of the problem, then go and solve that first.

Yes, just joined a Stock Market forum, and when l got there, well the second time, the conversation was about cocaine and how it sharpens up your mind, others also pointed it it also frys neurons, that don't come back, so it didn't go on forever. I guess that they need to put the Wolf of Wall Street in the bin.

True l guess, but it sucks when you fail, eventhough you learn, yeah, sucks.

You have to say NO to other things, that's it.

just think positive because hard work pays off.
don't think about how much you have to pay or what you have to do just think about your goal or vision this process give you a new energy.

Don't ignore the possibility that you may be legit depressed, even if only mildly. Sometimes talking to a therapist once or twice can help you get out of a rut.

Walks, eating right, doing something active every day.... if you're drinking or smoking dope STOP until you feel more like yourself.

Lastly.... forget about making money online for a while. Just do some stuff online that you like doing, even if you don't know where it's going to go.

I killed myself for years trying to make more and more money online, because I thought that's who I had to be. I was wrong. Now I'm having more fun than I ever have before. Keep doing that, and the money will find you.

I find going for a run/walk helps to clear the mind and come up with ideas.
Taking a small break also helps.

Long term, I use a whiteboard with everything I want to accomplish and it helps remind me.

Other than that, talking to others about success

I know what you're talking about, I have days when I just "can't" and I give myself a break... but surely I am back on track then, refreshed and with some new drive to sit at my laptop.... Anyways, if you really, really want something, then (to me) there's no stopping you!!! There's the energy itself!! Go somewhere out, meet friends, clear your head! That's what I'd do first... Then I'd think hard of how can I best change my situation and would take it from there.... Good luck!!

If you want something bad enough, there's the motivation itself.... at least to me Sure there are days I call "NO DAY".... In that case, give yourself a break and get back when you're comfortable in your mind again.... This works for me...

I believe in higher forms of intelligence and in a way channel through me to make ends meet.

Somehow that makes me focused and oddly enough, energetic.

Feeling comfortable with feeling uncomfortable.

Meditating daily.

Deep yin yoga daily.

60 minutes of exercise daily.

Changing time zones like most folks change their minds

All work for me.

Set your eyes on the goal you want to achieve. Let it be for a greater cause and let it be the fuel to drive you further. Avoid distractions and keep moving. My case was not so easy as I was born poor and everything was pretty hard. When you invest into learning you gain a lot of valuable things. I made a promise to myself that I won't be poor forever, that was what drove me to push further. I'm not saying I'm already successful, but hey life now isn't so bad.

You're not the only one. Just use the power of "ignore" ignore BS and do what you love to do and what makes you alive. If making money online gives you vitality then do it.

I don't mean that you ignore them, of course they are your family and you must support and love them even in that kind of situation. What I mean is ignore the negativity of their presence. The negative talk and negative feedback. Use it as motivation to move forward and to succeed your endeavor.

Having a life purpose for a superior cause makes the cogs move.

My best advice will be to not go full time with IM but instead search for an easy job or not so many days ,for example in my case i have 4 days of working and 4 days i work online . Then the next big secret its to program your subconstient mind its simple ,just before you sleep repeat how your habits what to be ,until its go in your subconstient ind and also repeat aso in the morning

Program yourself as the transformation will be seamless.


I fire up my favorite recordings twice a week and things just fall into place.


I can feel nirvana from the get go and that keeps me focused and energetic sans the chemical concoctions. I feel this "el puro" energy all over the place.
