What makes you stay FOCUSED and ENERGETIC?

Hi, kinda wanted to discuss with my fellow mates here about how do you stay focused and energetic throughout the day?

Nowadays, I get tired and lazy for nothing. I always feel tired throughout the day after waking up in the morning and NOT energetic. This happens because I'm behind some bills and have to pay soon, the deadline is already over. This thought wears me down.

Every night when I go to sleep, I promise myself that tomorrow I won't feel tired and won't procrastinate but the same thing happens day after day. Right after sipping tea in the morning I get lazy and depressed. Then I go to youtube and watch some comedy videos to cheer myself up but that hardly works. I have some due bills to pay asap and this brings me down.

Also, I know business models like CPA, Affiliate, Shopify DSing but don't have the money to invest. You won't believe that since the last Nov 2017, I have tried to make money online and even signed up for the 60 days Shopify trial but I didn't have - the money for ads, the pre-fulfillment money to order from my suppliers etc... And I wasted 2x60 days trials back to back i.e., 4 months on two different email addresses. I had an awesome website perfectly optimized, confirmed by some legit people having successes online as well as the Shopify team. I know it takes money to make money but seriously I am having real issues with the money.

Also, I DON'T have the best of relationship with my family to ask for help. They are literally scrubs and are in-born criticizers and doubters. I've been through a lot since my childhood.
My family and their relatives are the types of people who will FIND new problems for EVERY SOLUTION given. 80% of the society is also like that.

So, my question is have you all who succeeded making money online went through such a s#itty and broke phase OR you guys had some money to invest?

How do I NOT lose FOCUS, NOT get tired and be consistent with my goals?
Andrade

Write letters periodically for the future you who lives in 20 years later, and keep that future in mind.
Set goals, take actions. Cheer up!

Hi Andrade. Most of society doesn't want you to succeed. There will always be envious eyes looking about and gossipers who will make up stories but there is no place for people like that in your life. They will only be a hindrance to you in reaching your dreams. Staying focused and energetic throughout the day totally depends on your outlook in life. Having a positive outlook and waking up in the morning with a good vibe brings wonders until the day ends. Waking up on the wrong side of the bed, however, doesn't bring in a lot of good energy until the day reaches its end. It's better to always have a positive energy brimming on the inside of you so that it will be pouring out in abundance to everyone you encounter.

The things you love to do are require no efforts to get focused. It happens itself, because you have your soul burning.

Hi, many of the problems and feelings you have expressed are the same or similar that every entrepreneur has dealt with and continues to deal with on some level to some degree on a daily basis.
I say this not to diminish how you are feeling but to let you know that what you're feeling and going through is not unusual and that you can deal with and overcome these feelings and circumstances.
Every person in the Warrior Forum has, does, and on some level continues to deal with the same things you're dealing with.
There are many obstacles and challenges we all deal with in life and we must always find a way to handle these situations in a positive and constructive way.
Having a lack money, bills, overdue bills, crazy, complaining, unsupportive friends and family, and feeling unfocused, lazy, unmotivated, whatever is the "NORM" not the exception for an entrepreneur.
Personally once I accepted these conditions were normal and that I was responsible for the results in my life I began to feel better, more energetic, and motivated because I knew I had control over how can choose to deal with these things.
The challenges won't go away but you can choose how you respond to these circumstances when they occur.
As an entrepreneur you're responsible for your business. Take the word and thought of any thing being "Easy" about this endeavor out of your mind and expectations, and accept that you will fail, be frustrated, confused, lose money, have failed campaigns, bad product launches, sucky webinars, bad copy, or whatever else as part of your learn process as a business owner.
Also accept that you have what it takes to overcome these challenges when they happen and that no matter what happens in life you're going to f#$#%king Win.
Ask yourself "Why" your doing this in the first place. If your answer is, "I want to make some money", then that may not be strong enough because you can just go get a job and make some money.
Write out your goals and dreams, create a vision board, get a coach, listen to motivational material, read personal development book, etc...
Your "Why" will be what gets you up in the morning when you don't feel like working on your business, going to the gym, meeting that client or whatever you do.

    Hope this help.

    Enjoy your outcome!

As someone who has dealt with depressions and debt, I feel your pain. It's a vicious cycle.

If you can see a counselor -- do it. I was lucky that my insurance paid for one. I know you think, "That won't change my situation." And you're right, it won't. But it can change how you deal with your situation.

If you can, get a job or at least a part-time job to catch up on some bills while you try to build a business.

There is a thread in this forum called "what to do if you're desperate." Look it up, there are some great ideas.

Make a list of at least three things you need to do each day. As you mark them off you'll feel encouraged.

I know it's hard to deal with creditors. But trust me, avoiding them only makes things worse in the long run. Tell them your situation and many of them will try to work with you. Some won't.

Take walks. This helpd me a lot. I made myself do it when I did NOT feel like it and it helps. It releases natural endorphins plus you feel good about doing something for yourself.

I don't think you have entrepreneurial problems, but emotional problems. These are the thoughts and symptoms of someone with depression and anxiety, and encouragement doesn't make it go away (no matter how much the self-help industry wants you to believe).

I recommend you seek help. If money is a problem, I recommend attending ACA (since you mention you have been through a lot since childhood). You don't need to have alcoholic parents to benefit from ACA meetings. Even if you can't talk at first in these meetings, simply listening will help you uncover a lot of your issues which will really help to deal with them. And it'll sure make you feel better simply by realizing you're not alone, that there are others going through the same thing as you do. The camaraderie alone is priceless.

If you can afford therapy, I recommend Mark Derian. You can learn more about him on his website, www.animusempire.com (You can ask him question via email for free, though.)

The current issues you're facing right now are just the surface problems. Most often than not it goes way deeper than overdue bills or lack of motivation. Until you deal with your issues, making money, establishing healthy relationships, etc., will be a Sisyphean effort.

    Good luck and best wishes.

P.S. I don't know the extend to which you are affected, but as someone who resonates very well with your issues, would like to say your situation can be improved dramatically if you work at it consistently. It'll take years, though. I'm not saying this to discourage you, but to prepare you. I am one and a half years into "recovery" , and still feel there's a lot more to go. But keep going to some form of group therapy (like ACA 12-step meetings), listen to others, talk about your issues, and they'll get a lot more manageable.

And for the love of God, don't go to a CBT therapist or read any CBT-type of advice. It'll do you more harm than good.

I'm a bit of a tougher critic than some others here. I don't jump to the 'you need therapy' wagon because I'm not a doctor and what I see is as much 'lazy' and 'unfocused' as it is 'depressed'. You don't need more excuses - you need to make rules for yourself and adhere to them.

You've 'been through a lot' - this is real life...who HASN'T been through a lot? Chances are many others had it much worse than you...and the past is done.

Do you have a job? If not, why not? If you have bills that must be paid - your first priority should taking care of that so you can focus on moving forward. Get a job - any job - live cheap and pay off your debts. As Rose said above, contact creditors - be honest - and they will usually work with you. Ignore the problem and it will get worse.

Some will label this 'depression' - I call it self indulgent.

Really easy to plan when you are in bed - takes self discipline to DO anything the next morning. No one can provide you with self discipline. If you want to accomplish anything you need to finish your tea - take a brisk walk to wake up your mind.....and STAY AWAY from YouTube for 30 days at least. The moment you go to YT - you are giving up on yourself. You are opting to be 'entertained' rather than to do the work. Make better decisions.

Your lack of success is not your family's fault - they can't criticize your online dreams if you stop talking about them. It doesn't matter if others believe in you or not - all that counts is what YOU do. ....and that's the scary part. If you live with family - if they still pay your way in life - they will express opinions.

in the post three months ago.. i assumed based on his the op's state condition.. he must be getting supported by someone.. if he is not making money ..

and to an extent if whoever is support the op ..if the are family.. those people are completly in the right critizing the op's online ambition.. if they refuse to get a real job and support themselves ..

Help others, serve others, seek to find a meaningful purpose in your life - find a cause you can get behind and let that be your motivation. All these actions will turn your focus and mindset outward and away from your own situation. Over time, you will begin to enjoy what you do because you will see the good it accomplishes for others.

Yep youtube, l also have some tea in the morning, but wouldn't go near TY, as you watch one and then some more.

I only watch silly videos late at night, or use it as a way of winding down, and giving myself a reward for making progress during the day.

I watch the news and some b/w movie if that is too depressing in the morning as l can ditch either and none are overly compelling.

It doesn't necessarily take money to make it, although it can speed up the making if you know what you are doing.

.So yeah, ditch TY in the morning and staring aimlessly into a Smartphone as other zombies do, and stay with boring old tv, in the morning.

slipped it by the moderator .. but this same post .. word for word was put on the forum 3 month ago ..
    https://www.warriorforum.com/mind-wa...energetic.html

If the OP is so lazy to do anything about his problems even to the extent they will repost the same topic and post word for word months later..

there is no hope ..if things are still the same .. i wonder how things are going in the homeless shelter the op is staying in if they have 3 more months of unpaid bills with no offline income ..

OR are they just some person making some desperate sounding post up to see the type of response

There's a nice book I am currently reading, it's about time management... Maybe it has an answer about how not to lose Focus, will keep you posted.

But I have a little tip: Try to be FOCUS at one thing. Sometimes we become out of focus when we're thinking a lot of things at the same time. I am not yet successful, but I think slowing down a little would help us

    Good luck!
