the EcoSystem: why you probably will FAIL

There are lots of evergreen questions:

where to buy traffic
should i start a blog
should i start a youtube channel
how to promote blog
better X or Y.

Most of these questions, if not all, belong to cheap mentality.

A not serious mentality.

What i mean is: the quick rich attitude in somewhere inside these people and they wanna know what to do "quick and profitable" in order to do OTHER THINGS after they become eventually rich.

They end up disappointed after few years later, after being scammed again and again, and then they'll eventually give up or continue the compulsive buying of courses, only to not admit to themselves that they had completely failed.

Why this happens? Cause of gurus? Cause of scammers? Or bad courses?

No. As the tv movie 'Huste' says: you cannot cheat an honest man.

It's the attitude in the beginning, the source of the problems.

Online Marketing has been taken seriously: it's not about "what" to do preferably, if the blog, or the channel, or whatsoever, it's about how these things link together in a complex strategy for selling something.

So you need firstly to know what to sell. Then think that you would not 'do something' than it's all passive and you can go to vacation.

It's a business. A work. You need to apply constant effort, there's no something like 'all passive' and go to beach with a cocktail waiting for millions.

You will need probably to have Blog, Youtube, Facebook Page, and everything tuned and built like an ecosystem to catch potential customers from different angles.

And you will need to nurture these sources continuously. So take it like a serious business, not something to do for having the time to do other things.

That's why few people succeed.

Thanks for making the Mind Warriors sub-forum, finally, worth visiting (on a very limited basis). Without you, well, we know who'd we get on a daily basis, eh?

It is just refreshing to actually see someone with a mind posting here. (Others have had their minds confiscated, mostly, by gurus).

I certainly appreciate your kind words. Do bear in mind that for everyone that shares your feelings, there are 10 others that think I'm just a douche nozzle. I pride myself on that. :-)

The real question as it relates to my post is, did you see what I did there, or was my sardonic attempt at wittiness lost on you?

addressing the op .. about building ecosystems . go ahead and do it ..if you have the skills to make good youttube videos, facebook pages, instagram pages ..

as even though it is all social media they each require different skill sets to do well ..and then master ..or you build an audience on one and move them over to another ..

but trying to do many things at once you may not have the skills to do .. to build an ecosystem.. sounds like a good idea ..as long as you have a day job that pays the bills and can take 5-10 years to build an online income .

there is a difference between reality for the majority and what successful people actually do ..

reality for someone who owns and can drive a car..is different than fo someoneone who rides a bike or the buss everywhere ..

no as for the question in the op .. they are good question to answer .. if don't for the best business reason rather than the popular thing to to to follow your passion

Not quite. Reality is the same for everyone, you know, just like, "Truth is truth."

The difference in the two scenarios you listed is the method of moving through reality. When you approach a stop sign, it will be red for both individuals, regardless of their mode of transportation.

THAT'S reality! What you're describing is a different experience. Oftentimes what we believe we are experiencing is not based in reality. That's not healthy.

the shape and color of a stop sign is one thing.. if a person is not color blind of course ..but in the real world people do not have the same reaction to stop signs all of the time ..of course it means they should stop.. in the real world though .. people don't always stop ..

so yes in reality a stop sign is a stop sign .. but there is a difference between how the should react to the sign.. and what happens in reality .

if someone buy's hot coffee in reality there should be no need to have caution this is hot on the cup .. but in reality or the real world how hot is hot enough or to hot or way to hot.. veries from person to person .

even with your definition of reality and experience.. most of what people refer to as reality.. is just experience ..and if there is a wide range of experience in an event in reality .. who's experience gets to be the one that is considered reality where all others are just experiences not based in reality

Those with a firm grasp of reality.

Don't honor the stop sign, kill someone, go to hail for the rest of your life. That will be both an experience and your reality, which could have been totally avoided by acknowledging true reality, in the first place. You should have stopped. That's the reality.

If you're color blind and have not found a way to deal with identifying a stop sign, you should not be driving. That's reality. Period. Driving anyway, to determine how you are going to experience the stop sign, is - well . . . . . . you know.

Stop means stop. If you perceive the message in any other way, you simply are not dealing with reality and must suffer the consequences of your refusal, or simple inability or unwillingness to accept reality.

Life is a series of choices. The more you base your decisions on reality, the further you'll get. Ultimately, this is what separates winners from losers.

Winners embrace reality and use their understanding of it as a tool, to work to their advantage. Losers mistakenly believe that what they experience is reality, when oftentimes, it is not. This is why we have something called, 'delusional behavior.' Considering your experiences to be reality is delusional, plain and simple. Unless, of course, what your are experiencing and reality line-up in any given instance. If you see a red stop sign, you are good. Oh, that's as long as you remember that reality dictates you must stop your car. :-) Think you can blow through that stop sign without ramifications. That's delusional thinking, not based on reality.

well i agree with you .. winners grasp reality ..and don't need to change reality .. unless they are real gifted people .. hey just change how they experience of reality ..

I believe you understand this part .. the reality of a situation does not dictate the experience .. winner have bad shit happen for a long period of time .. then figure out how to have a much better experience in reality .. ..

when the expenses form a grove that get people stuck in a kind of reality.. is different from someone running around high on meth ..yelling at people who are not there ..

here is where people get stuck in reality ..and can't get into a different pattern of experiences ..that are much better or richer in quality ..

so you live in a world where no one tuns stop signs, stop signs .. blah blah blah ..

people die every day because just because their is a stop sign there or a posted speed limit .. or this or that.. does not mean that is what all drivers do..in reality ..on the roads you have to be aware than just because there is a stop sign there .. doesn't mean that car going to fast is going to stop .

you do understand what i am trying to say.. just because the sign is there and everyone should observe the sign..in reality many people ignore the sign or do rolling stops checking for traffic or police .. to see if they can get away with not stopping

you obedience to the rules does not mean in reality everyone else is just as obedient ..

Reality is not equal to everyone, it's the consensus reality which is an average.

Now you understand where the derision originates from. This is nothing more than word salad comprised of snippets of meaningless drivel meant to impress you by making you think that you are incapable of deciphering the obtuseness of the message because you are woefully lacking in enlightenment. You simply can't keep up. In the real world we refer to this as, 'total bullshit.' Hopefully you will be able to easily decipher the meaning of that term, lest you fall for the ploy and start to doubt your own intellectual capabilities and sensibilities.

yes you should build an ecosytem over time but if you are just starting out and building skills you need to focus on what you can develop and get good at fastest .. attention of your customers is what matters and if you are trying to much ..or too many things and not building or creating content that gets attention.. you will fail ..

Jeff Bezos wanted amazon to be the everything store it became but he started amazon selling books because that was the best product to start selling online.. and then amazon and amazon affiliates probably spent more money on google /google adwords collectively than anyone else..because thats where attention was ..

long term success ..build a marketing ecosystem.. starting out with limited resources choose the media that you have the best chance to succeed in ..and can do well starting out or well enough to get some attention ..

but not to diminish you ..but i will follow advice from jeff bezos.. peter thiel, and several other billionairs.. about the businesses they started and grew .. you have to dominate one small area ..then work your way out into the larger biosphere

Good but if Michael Jordan do X it's not meaning that you have to do the same, cause you're not michael.
Yes, you have to focus on one primarly BUT you are NOT jeff bezos, you need to produce content spread in multiple resources cause you can not rely only on facebook ads, or seo, or only youtube etc.

It's a business, not something to do part time: when you open a market , or a bar, you cannot focus only on advertising with word of mouth, or only to newspaper advertising, or only on making good coffee etc

well if you open a resteraunt ..because it is your passion .. but you never worked in one .. and don't have the skills to run the business.. mastery of marketing skills will just put you out of business faster ..

if the food is bad..or the service is bad.. and the place is dirty .. it does not matter how great your marketing ecosystem is ..

if you have terrible products .. if your adds stink, your youtube video unwatchable or borin, your instagram photos uninteresting.. your facebook page ..terrible .

you should have a full time job that pays the bills and do this part time while you build the skills ..to put out great content
