12 Tips to reach your goals much easier

  1. Focus on good things rather than things that give you stress.
  1. Always think positive about yourself. If you don't believe yourself, no one would.
  1. Learn from your mistakes. Failures can and will happen in life. The key is learning from those failures rather than giving up.
  1. Make your objectives reachable and realistic. You probably can't climb the Mount Everest next week, but with right training and attitude you can give it a serious try in a year time.
  1. Be brave. If you are not brave enough to take serious responsibilities, you won't be able achieve big things. Sometimes you need to put your hand under a heavy load to achieve big things.
  1. Keep learning new things. Forget about excuses such as age and time. You should always be enthusiastic to learn new skills. Knowing a lot never harms anyone, unless you are a SPY
  1. Try to get involve with useful things. Instead of watching TV all weekend, go out, do exercise, etc.
  1. Never under estimate the simplicity.
9.Be open minded to changes.
10.Don't try to act as you know it all.
11.Appreciate people and always show your appreciation.
12.Don't be suspicious of people. However, give yourself some time to know them better.

Thanks for that. Its amazing how powerful these seemingly insignificant life and mental attitudes are

...so much more important that having a technical skill as they will help you in every way possible for the rest of your life

You are right. If you don't have the attitude and and the atribute to drive you to take action, all the skills you know is just a waste.

We all do the same mistake clickobey, trying look for impossible while obvious one is staring in our face

Great tip. It is amazing to me how many "know it alls" that I run into. These are the same people who have produced no results in their life yet they seem to *know* everything when you try to teach them something.

This discussion of simplicity reminds me of Ockam's razor: the principle postulates that the best decision is usually the one that has the fewest assumptions and variables.

Sometimes, it's hard to know which decision fits that principle, but in the end, that's the one that will likely be the winner. Others say, "test your keywords and make sure that the content of the site matches the best keywords."

Well, yes! You are completely right there.

Of course the problem is that normal life takes over, and they are soon forgotten. This is why it is so important to take time to remind ourselves where we are and how we want to be that day.

A good start would be to simply print these tips out and read them through first thing before starting out your day. That way they can be developed into habits. Otherwise they will all be filed under the "todo later" pile, i.e. NEVER

"Focus on good things rather than things that give you stress." I can totally relate to this. Sometimes, we get so caught up with the negative things in life that we forget to do the things we enjoy.

I heard a great tip the other day that has totally changed the way I think

"There is no such thing as failure .. only feedback"

It really changes your outlook if you think about it. If something doesn't work it doesn't mean you failed it just didn't work

It really stops you getting down at every setback

Great advice, one the best books I've read is 'The Art of War' by Sun Tzu, written 2500 years ago and still applicable today, check it out.
