So many times when older bloggers are advising younger bloggers on picking a niche, they go "narrow down your niche" Pick a sub-niche and focus on it.

I don't subscribe to that, somehow I see it as limiting one's scope.

What is your take on this?

    My take is that you posted in the wrong sub-forum, to discuss sub-niches.

    You may want to ask a mod to move your post to a more appropriate spot.

    yeah wrong sub forum .. but at the same time .. it all seem odd to me .. as you are thinking niche.. but .. what you are really trying to figure out is who will read your blog and what content can you write that will get them to read it regularly ..

    who do you appeal to .. who is your intended audience for what you want to write .. hell start out just writing stuff that you might want to reread in a few day weeks or month ...
