Your Reason to Smile and Say Hell Yea!

Sometimes we got our Wish and we do not even Realize or Appreciate it.

Sometimes when extremely bad things happen we wish it never did. We wish it every day. What if...

If you were in jail, you would be thinking if I only had freedom I would do so many things. Even if I could just taste the foods I wanted I would be so happy.

If I was not in this hospital I would appreciate so many things even a walk in the park on a rainy day.

If I was not in this coffin....

Has anything really terrible happened to you and you said Wow why did I have to turn right instead of left it all never would have happened.

Why did I have to meet that person...all this pain would have never happened.

Why did I invest in that then this all would never have happened.

But what if you got that 2nd chance...

Your broken leg is now perfectly normal,

You have the cash you lost,

You made the turn that saved you from experiencing an accident.

All the drama from another person is not there. How would it feel?

It feels exactly like NOW. You got your wish but you do not realize it.

The life you have right now is the one you wanted when you were experiencing that extreme crisis and now you got a do over.

Enjoy it.

I had a minor car accident this week, or was under pressure on a very humid day, and started the car, when it was in first gear, the car hit the gutter and also hit a ballard part of a Restaurant.

I put the brakes on, but not before a few startled people got a shock. I apologized to them, and assessed the damage, and gave my details.

And a few days later after paying a few hundred, it is all settled, but still sucks that l am out of pocket. S**t happens, as they say.

Also on this day, (the day l had the accident) l also almost took a right turn on an area with a camera.

Thankfully since the car in front was dragging their feet and the one behind that was tailgating, to avoid a fine, l knew that when l entered and saw amber, that my goose was cooked, and braked.

I have learned from many years of experience, that when something good is going to happen the universe piles it on.

Well, not just me, many people thorough history have been or had terrible luck before a big break.

J K Rowling being one, (everything that could go wrong did, before her big break).

So sure you can be thankful that you have this and that, but l think that understanding the pattern, and keep going, is more important than putting it down to luck, and giving up.

  • Hey Tagiscom, Thanks for sharing.

Sorry you had to go thru all that drama but you made me appreciate and say Hell Yea that is a mess I did not have to deal with

I read a story and saw a pic today of a Kid that was having fun and covered himself with Leaves on the curb where cars park and a UPS driver took a picture and he said his heart stopped beating cus he could have easily parked there.

The Kid is clueless it was a hell of a day for him.

Yeah, not really in a hell yeah, frame of mind at present. But thanks for the positive remarks.

But hell yeah's need to be used with caution. The guy that Wrote Pilgrims Progress, (one of the best selling books of all time) was at a low point and seriously considered jumping off the back of the ship he was on to end it all.

      He thankfully didn't do that.

Sure some don't want to go through anything nasty, but they may have to in order to reach the gold.

Very interesting and different point of view. And, very needed by me at this time. I've been in some of those scenarios lately more than once over a period of time. And I said that exact same thing - if only ____

Now that I'm back in my normal surroundings I sometimes still say if only ____ (something different than the first ____).

I think part of the thinking that needs changing is a sense of gratitude and less complaining. If I had X (what I'm thinking would make all those bad things go away) because the genie came and gave me my 3 wishes, I'd probably still be unsatisfied in some way or another.

    So, thanks for the message.

    Mark

PS I saw that UPS thing and he's right - that is a terrifying picture and thought. I've got nephews and nieces and I can just imagine some of them being clever in hiding or playing a game and doing something like that.

    Hi Art,

Yep; smile and feel good and feel blessed. Even our deepest nightmares purge fears, so bless us. I dig every day; life keeps unfolding in fascinating fashion.

i get where you are going with this .. but it turns into a waste of time.. a few years ago i stopped much of the if only ..and started asking .. well this bad thing is happening or just happened .. what can i learn from it to improve myself and not have something like it happen again ..

i am thankful i have had run of the mill hard and bad stuff happen.. and nothing devastatingly traumatic ..

in my view .. i have learned not to hold on or fully judge anything that happens as bad in aggregate long term ... it might be bad in the now .. but in most cases it can lead to much better outcome.. in the long term.

Everything has positive and negative.. we need to train ourselves to see both .and refrain from judgement .. or if we do judge winch is fine.. not attach ourselves to the judgement permanently ..

it is fine if you have no idea what i just said .. as this is even harder to explain than normal ..

when you have a broken leg ..instead of thinking of all the things you can't do ..or may do when the leg heals ..ask what is it that i can do that i would not try to do if i was fine ..

how do i turn this bad thing into a positive long term thing

  • Mark, Tagis, Ryan, Odahh all you guys great to be back have to find Claude!

No matter how many problems we have we never really take the time to give thanks for the problems we do not have.

The bad news from a Doctor we did not get.

The route we took that lead to a peaceful journey and not a life changing disability.

The time we avoided an altercation, told the truth, helped someone, shared our last, did without, it shaped our destiny, somebody profiled us once but decided to target someone else, all these things happened but we do not realize it.

Yes I find a way to think positive in adversity....these days we have to.

  • Remember those Cartoons and Movies where you fall from a building or over a cliff like the Coyote in Road Runner and you stick up a sign from a hole that says Ouch!

But then a huge Boulder or Piano comes crashing down on you as well.

You got Problems now...but you didn't get the Boulder and Piano.
