5 Success Beliefs/Affirmations

"Whatever Happens, I'll Handle It."

I learned this one from Susan Jeffers ("Feel The Fear And Do It
Anyway".) And -- if you think about it -- you have pretty much
handled everything up until now. The common fear is that if
something bad happens that you won't be able to cope etc.
When 97.5% of the time you will be able to.

"I'm Not Afraid Of Failure,
Because I'm Always Learning."

Another common one that many people experience. The
solution to the fear of failure, is to learn something from that
failure ... (That will make you more successful.) As Napoleon
Hill (Think And Grow Rich) said: Every failure carries with it the
seed of an equal or greater benefit."

"I'm Doing Whatever It Takes
To Be Successful."

This one I learned from Entrepreneur Eben Pagan Basically you
decide that you're going to keep going and going -- even when
faced with "failure" etc. -- until you reach your goal(s). This is
something that most People don't do ... And that is why they don't
succeed.

"I'm Providing Tremendous Value To
People."

This is one of the most important parts of being a successful
Marketer/Entrepreneur. Essentially, the more value you provide to
People the more money you will make. Similarly, part of my
Mission Statement is: "To empower and inspire as many People
as humanly possible."

"I'm Going To Feel The Fear ... And
Do It Anyway
!"

This is an adaptation from something Bruce Lee originally said.
No matter what the fear is it can't stop you from taking action or
being successful. And the more fear you do feel, the more
courage it takes to face that fear, which is a great success in
itself.

HTH.

This is a good read through, I personally like number 2. When your not afraid of failure your goals will come to fruition much faster than you think.

    Nice post!

I especially like #1 and #3. As internet marketers, we truly need to adopt a solution based mindset in order to overcome obstacles and adversity. It's really all about how you approach the challenges that arise when running a business. Sink or swim.

I love these, although I've begun moving away from using affirmations and more toward afformations.

    What are afformations you ask?

Well instead of the affirmation, "I'm not afraid of failure because I'm always learning" you say "Why am I not afraid of failure?"

The basic premise is this, you take the affirmation and turn it into a question.

    Why do you do this?

Think about the reason you use your brain daily. It's to figure out things right? You do this by asking questions. Your mind is constantly trying to find answers to questions, so when you take your affirmation and turn it into a question you send your mind looking for the answer.

What this tends to do, is force your subconscious to come up with answers to prove to you why the question you are asking your mind is true.

It's something I've been trying out for a few weeks and I must say I feel a lot different than when I basically sat for hours trying to pound affirmations into my reality.

If you would like to check it out there's a good book on Amazon called afformations.

What you should be doing with affirmations though, is more than just saying them try to get as many feelings as you can behind them. So when you say them take a moment and try to visualize how it would feel.

    Feelings are more important.

Affirmations are great way to instill success beliefs. But do not work for everyone. When that is the case, there is a deep-rooted negative belief system already in place that prevents us from the new success belief system to take root, grow and bear fruit.

In that case, the new affirmations won't be so effective. We have to pinpoint the old negative belief system, confront it and come to terms with it, before we see any success with the new affirmations.

^^ Affirmations take time to sink in but they are immensely powerful.

Because... he who stays longer in the game, is the winner.

It takes a good dose of wit and acknowledgement that the affirmations are assimilated by the subconscious, when your prevailing thoughts are positive and dwindle the negative part of the psyche.

For instance, hypnosis that bypasses the critical part of the mind
can lead to auto pilot manifestos, thus manipulating reality on a passive basis.
