5 Success Beliefs/Affirmations

"Whatever Happens, I'll Handle It."

I learned this one from Susan Jeffers ("Feel The Fear And Do It
Anyway".) And -- if you think about it -- you have pretty much
handled everything up until now. The common fear is that if
something bad happens that you won't be able to cope etc.
When 97.5% of the time you will be able to.

"I'm Not Afraid Of Failure,
Because I'm Always Learning."

Another common one that many people experience. The
solution to the fear of failure, is to learn something from that
failure ... (That will make you more successful.) As Napoleon
Hill (Think And Grow Rich) said: Every failure carries with it the
seed of an equal or greater benefit."

"I'm Doing Whatever It Takes
To Be Successful."

This one I learned from Entrepreneur Eben Pagan Basically you
decide that you're going to keep going and going -- even when
faced with "failure" etc. -- until you reach your goal(s). This is
something that most People don't do ... And that is why they don't
succeed.

"I'm Providing Tremendous Value To
People."

This is one of the most important parts of being a successful
Marketer/Entrepreneur. Essentially, the more value you provide to
People the more money you will make. Similarly, part of my
Mission Statement is: "To empower and inspire as many People
as humanly possible."

"I'm Going To Feel The Fear ... And
Do It Anyway
!"

This is an adaptation from something Bruce Lee originally said.
No matter what the fear is it can't stop you from taking action or
being successful. And the more fear you do feel, the more
courage it takes to face that fear, which is a great success in
itself.

This is a good read through, I personally like number 2. When your not afraid of failure your goals will come to fruition much faster than you think.

    Nice post!

I especially like #1 and #3. As internet marketers, we truly need to adopt a solution based mindset in order to overcome obstacles and adversity. It's really all about how you approach the challenges that arise when running a business. Sink or swim.

I love these, although I've begun moving away from using affirmations and more toward afformations.

    What are afformations you ask?

Well instead of the affirmation, "I'm not afraid of failure because I'm always learning" you say "Why am I not afraid of failure?"

The basic premise is this, you take the affirmation and turn it into a question.

    Why do you do this?

Think about the reason you use your brain daily. It's to figure out things right? You do this by asking questions. Your mind is constantly trying to find answers to questions, so when you take your affirmation and turn it into a question you send your mind looking for the answer.

What this tends to do, is force your subconscious to come up with answers to prove to you why the question you are asking your mind is true.

It's something I've been trying out for a few weeks and I must say I feel a lot different than when I basically sat for hours trying to pound affirmations into my reality.

If you would like to check it out there's a good book on Amazon called afformations.

What you should be doing with affirmations though, is more than just saying them try to get as many feelings as you can behind them. So when you say them take a moment and try to visualize how it would feel.

    Feelings are more important.

      Bonus belief/affirmation.

      "I Take 100% Responsibility For
      Everything That Happens To me.
      "

This is something I learned from Jack Canfield who in tern
learned it from W. Clement Stone. Essentially when you
take 100% responsibility for everything that happens to you ...
You can re-create and un-create anything at will.

although this is true .. and it is also fundamental to to the law of attraction.. the critical element is how you define responsibility ..

you are not responsible for the weather ..tornado hits not your responsibility .. blizzard hits .. not your responsibility..earthquake hits ..stock market crashes..

taking things that happen personally and treating them like they are happening to you .. is your responsibility ..being somewhere where these things can happen.. and not preparing for them in advance .. is your responsibility .

there is a lot that happens on this planet you are not responsible for.. the effect that thing have on your when they happen to or around you, is your responsibility .

Thanks Odahh: I appreciate the feedback. I may have got that one slightly wrong. Another way of looking at it is: "I Take 100% Responsibility For My Life."

the other part or a more actionable way to say that.. "I am 100 percent responsible for the suffering in my life "

a lot of the good things in your life can be because of dumb luck timing and blessing.. a lot of the not so good.. outside of your realm of influence..

but the amount you suffer tends to be all on you .. a large number of people suffer to have something to talk about with other people .. or as a way to prove themselves worthy for what ever good things they have in their life ..

True. Good point. For me going through a lot of suffering has (ultimately) been really beneficial.

so do you believe that a lot of suffering is the only way .. to get things that are really beneficial ..

that to get want you want.. to get better things you much embark on a path that has much struggle and great suffering .

to be worthy .. of what you want.. and to tell people of course i deserve what i have.. here is the list of my struggles .. the failings and all of the suffering i endured to get it .

actually to have a chance to build success .. the only way to build success that works for a vast majority of people who can be defined as successful .. are in the top 5 percent or the top 1 percent of those who do what they do . the top performers .

What other thing is there that be called success .. than doing what you do well every day .. and be among the best that do it ..

Affirmations are great way to instill success beliefs. But do not work for everyone. When that is the case, there is a deep-rooted negative belief system already in place that prevents us from the new success belief system to take root, grow and bear fruit.

In that case, the new affirmations won't be so effective. We have to pinpoint the old negative belief system, confront it and come to terms with it, before we see any success with the new affirmations.

    "Success Is Our Birthright".

^^ Affirmations take time to sink in but they are immensely powerful.

Because... he who stays longer in the game, is the winner.

It takes a good dose of wit and acknowledgement that the affirmations are assimilated by the subconscious, when your prevailing thoughts are positive and dwindle the negative part of the psyche.

For instance, hypnosis that bypasses the critical part of the mind
can lead to auto pilot manifestos, thus manipulating reality on a passive basis.

the fear that has to be gotten over in learning new or any skill.. is the fear of being bad at something ..when starting out learning ..

at this point we don't have that thing from the matrix where you can just have someone download files in your brain.. and know kung foo at master level .. when you have never done and fighting method before

but it seems like a large number of people seem to think that is how it should be ..and are looking for the stuff they know without learning .

I'm glad Susan Jeffers wasn't without elaboration!....

Tony Robbins held and taught the same theory with naivety driven by ego, and people got their feet burned.

      Thus the allegory establishes itself:

'Don't jump on the coals till you know the heat'.
