What's your BEST source of antioxidants.

So I got into this discussion with my long time friend about the various sources of antioxidants and their effectiveness.

She is very much against non-natural sources, like antioxidant supplements, and claims that the berries -- blueberries, wild berries, strawberries , raspberries have the best reliable source of antioxidants.

So what are your best sources of antioxidants?

Fruits (all berries), spinach, onions and carrots are rich sources of antioxidants.

There is evidence to support the thesis that "super-doses"
of anti-oxidants aren't actually that good for you. That means
that MLM products and others promising very-high levels
of antioxidants won't help your health and may hurt it in
the long term. Getting a diet that runs to 80% or more fresh
fruits, vegetables, and grains (if you do well with them) tends
to provide quite a lot of antioxidants.

If you want to feel truly vibrant and healthy reduce or
eliminate hybridized starch-foods from your diet periodically,
working, if you can, towards permanent reduction of
starchy hybrids from the diet. Starchy hybrids are:
    commercial bananas, wheat, corn, potatoes.

I know this is kind of hard to believe that a diet eliminating
these "staple" foods would lead to vibrant health, but
it can. Those starches mess with your blood-sugar
    and also make people fat.

**** is apparently chalk full of antioxidants, but as all of you know, be careful where you get it from because a lot of the products are rip offs and of course many of the trials are ridiculous rebills.

Pretty sure the actual berry is awesome though!

Too much of anything can be a bad thing, but I see your point.

I try to focus on fresh, not processed, food. Go organic when you can.
