How Do You Push Forward?

I've done a lot throughout my years, but I'm at a point where I need someone to talk to in order to push myself forward.

I'm earning a solid 5 figure per month income and have been for about 2 years, but I feel I'm still way under my potential.

How do you find people to consult with? Talk to? Mastermind groups? And more importantly.. how do you find people who actually have experience making income (versus those starting out)? Any ideas?

High end seminars or auctions where things are solds for high 5 figure 6 or seven figures

You don't have to talk about it here but if you are now into buying higher end things it might be time to start chatting with other high earners who buy similar high end stuff .

It's a marketing and targeting issue .who do you want to meet how much more than you do you feel comfortable earnings wise and where

And you might be dealing with this 10-20years older

I am too having this issue, though with a lower monthly income. Would like to get some input on this.

Solid 5 figure a month, which could mean anything from 10,000 to 99,999 right?

If the five figures is less than 20k a mo., then you might want to double it, in as short as time as possible via scale, economies. If closer to the 99K a month, you want to get to a solid six figure a month deal, or is more than just INCOME?

When you say, push yourself forward, do YOU know what that means? Are your forward goals strictly money oriented? Before you find someone to consult with, it would behoove you to have a better fleshed out idea of what you want, THEN, you can find the person or GROUP which would be best suited to your needs. Plenty of Marketing types, from Abraham, Kennedy types to help increase your business, you'd want BUSINESS consultants, and they are pretty easy to find.

IF there are other considerations, more life goals, or bigger goals, then perhaps you need more of a coach, who has fewer ideas but provides more accountability.

Do you want to scale your optimize business up? Is it mature and you want to diversify? Are you looking for some Absentee cash cows? Do you want to put in fewer hours and take out more moolah?

We might be able to help you find the right person, or group or Mastermind group, IF you can narrow it down.

You are in a good position to take one of several different paths, but you have to know where the end is before you choose. Pick the wrong one, it could double your income, eat away your time and life and create even bigger problems.

So, in 5 years, where do you see yourself? That might shine some light on the right path to take and the right people to accompany you on your journey.

      Appreciate the comments Gordon.

My meaning behind push forward is that I've lost interest in some areas of what I'm doing. The income isn't as important as the feelings I have while making the income. I've experienced a lot of hardships in my life and I'm at a point where I don't have many, in fact I'm able to solve other peoples hardships now. It feels wonderful but the work itself isn't as fulfilling as it once was.

I'm trying to figure out if I need to just push forward and use that momentum to build something bigger, push forward to use the income to help others, keep going and save most of everything, OR find another venture to put my time into.

Follow the yellow brick road. You are at a crossroads, maybe a juncture you didn't imagine, enough money, not so much satisfaction.

Give yourself a little TIME, PLOW on with what you are doing, but start writing down the things, or INVOLVEMENT which you think would be more gratifying, without the sacrifice in income.

I am biased, of course. But my best suggestion is to INVEST in ideas, or people who have an idea which could create the most jobs (income) for other people.

What would something like that look like to you? For me, I'm testing a "brainery" concept, if you want to see a model of that, the Brooklyn Brainery would be worth a look. My kid has taught several classes there.

See, what I like about it, is getting as many people involved, who can make some money teaching what they love to do. You could of course, maybe create an Absentee Owned business, where it just gives YOU some cash flow and maybe employs a few people.

But I encourage you to think a bit bigger. Give others who have had their hardships and knock downs a chance to create a little something for themselves too. It is a good feeling when you help others get back on their feet, and then they pay that forward.

As the scarecrow said to Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, follow the yellow brick road...but she knew where she wanted to go. In five years, 2 years, next year, where do you WANT to be? From the sound of things, helping other people will be a big payoff for you in the feelings department.

Good luck. Give yourself a little time, and explore all the possibilities, you have so many options.

        GordonJ

PS. At my local brainery, I am testing my own classes, workshops too, so it is good for me financially as well as knowing I will be helping others too.

Hello Justin, take a look at that link, this guy does a free scholarship (scroll to the bottom for that)

probably one of the best people to sort out your thinking, direction and focus I have come across, but with that in mind we are all different, the free scholarship lets you work out if what he teaches and the group are right for you, but if you are looking fir crystal clear clarity then it is a good place to start.

        Hello Justin

I'm going to be harsh. If you cannot figure out yourself what you want in life, and you need others to motivate you, then you won't be going much further.

        Cheers

Haha appreciate it Lindy. I'm not at a total loss or needing everyone to motivate me, rather I'm trying to figure out what my next steps are. I'm making strides here and there along the way. I'm more focused on the experience of life at the moment, but I also have this want to build myself even further business-wise. It's just challenging given the levels of success I've had. I'll figure it out one way or another.

You have raised a very interesting question. Those people who are really successful are quite generous about sharing their knowledge. What you can do is to study their track record and attend their seminar. For example, you can learn from a millionaire entrepreneur , Dan Lok. You can learn from his books and training, how to push your self to the next level. You can write to these successful people or simply shoot a selfie styled video, speaking from your heart and message them via social media and I am sure they will reach out to you. Best of luck !

Maybe sharing knowledge is the key. I've been considering this for a while. I used to have a YouTube channel with hundreds of videos.. but I deleted the videos due to a partnership that later failed. I'd love to get back into it.

Next step might be seminars workshops and public speaking . And putting that content online

I've done quite a bit throughout the years. I used to host weekly workshops, hosted workshops for other peoples events, Chamber of Commerce events, and I spoke at a few different events with 30-60 people. I'm semi interested in this, but it doesn't PULL me at the moment.

    Upgrade your standards.

It was that day that I woke up brimming with joy and a flame in my belly that made all the difference.

That didn't happen by chance as I programmed the mind to do so.

  • Back in the day, them Buddha-centric gurus did way loadsa slouchin' around contemplatin' stuff.

An' they figured walking was jus' fallin' ovah an' catchin' yourself before your face went blammo on the asphalt (not that they had asphalt bcs this was like before they had mascara & stuff).

Anyways, it is not always the case that a pushin' force generates max momentum.

Bruce Lee speaks often about the illimunatin' qualities of water -- flowin' round stuff steada hardenin' up so you greet evrythin' as an obstacle.

As a thought experiment, I could skip yogah class an' load up on way exotic designer gin, thereby collapsin' in an exotic heap with zero hope of push powah.

An' I would still move forward.

Tellya, I dun this plenty times to know ... aw yeah yeah it is tamara now, K so where are my panties?

So ... forward is inevitable, an' choices other than pushin' exist to make your eventual arrival in the fyooture hunky dory as you wanna.

Main question is ... potential for what?

There is a big diffrence between antsinesses make you wanna jump.

Restlessness 'bout WHERE TO got more inherent direction than restlessness 'bout GETTIN' UNSTUCK.
