Would You Like More Happiness, Contentment, And Success?

... Then practice: Gratitude.

(Be grateful for all your wonderful blessings and
everything you have ...)

I never used to be grateful for anything: I took everything
for granted and didn't like who I was or anything about my
Life. However these days ― and partly because I've been
through so much suffering and difficult experiences ...

I'm extremely grateful on a daily basis. For everything. : )

In fact I didn't realize it until I saw my reflection in a couple
of windows ... I have a happy expression on my face a lot
of the time. And that's nice because other People notice it
and are "happy" and "friendly" back to me.

Anyway I once read that success and happiness means:
"Being grateful for what you do have, rather than
complaining about what you don't."

And being grateful is somewhat easier than being "happy"
― which can often be more "complex".

Gratitude will make you more happy and content. As Amy
Collette said: "Gratitude is a powerful catalyst for
happiness." Not only that, gratitude will also make you
more successful. As Rhonda Byme ("The Secret") said:

"Gratitude will shift you to a higher frequency, and
you will attract much better things. As Oprah
Winfrey said:
"Be thankful for what you have because you'll
end up having more."

I hope this post has been helpful. Thanks for the opportunity
for sharing it with you. For more advice and quotations on
being grateful, here's nice Webpage: (Don't just read them,
think about them.)

Enjoy. : )

    Nice thoughts.
I am grateful too, for all the sufferings that came my way.
They taught me to thank life for giving me a chance to break, in order to rebuld myself.
    Regards.

Thanks RuskinF. : ) I completely agree: The more People "suffer" (etc.) ... The more they progress, evolve, and advance in Life. It's nice to see someone who understands that. I once said: "The more you suffer, the deeper grows your Character, and the more loving and compassionate you become."

For instance one time when I was in Hospital (with Schizophrenia) I remember being allowed to do some Christmas shopping and I was full of tears listening to the BandAid song thinking about all the starving children.

Something I learned from The Bible is:
"Suffering creates hope, and hope creates Character."

      2C.

Suffering in faith while serving the will of God .but most human suffering is do to o es own wickedness and sin.

I doubt any human can be greatfull for or truely appreciate anything they have never really lacked .

A large amount of many peoples suffering is self induced and stunts any type of real growth.

Gratitude is great . But most every belief system that talks about the value of gratitude . Also preaches the value of going without for short periods of time

    .. then pay it forward.

Long time ago I learned from this forum to be gracious
for all of help and advise.

More importantly I learned that paying it forward can
make a real difference in people's lives and it also
makes me feel better at the end of the day.

    Good post Jonathan.

Absolutely. Great point: Thanks Jeffery. : )

It's amazing that we have this place to all support and help each other with our Entrepreneurial/Marketing/etc. dreams and ambitions. Similarly to what you said, sometimes a simple act of gratitude/kindness can really make a Person's day.

My gratitude is based more in the yes we live in rather than what I do have or do not have.

Cool. : ) It would be unusual for a Person to be completely happy, content, and successful in every area and realm of their Life ... However if that's true for you, then fair play.
I don't know all the "secrets" to success just that the more grateful a Person is, the more "blessings" they receive.

I'm all for happiness, but I believe it's always temporary. I'd rather have contentment, because it's more sustainable than some notion of happiness.
