1. INK IT - Write your goal down. Everyday. Put it everywhere. Desktop. Fridge. Bedroom door. Office. Everywhere!!! Then Visualize and Feel it as though you have already achieved it. Feeling is the real secret. Make it so real in your mind that it brings tears to your eyes. This is magic.

2. Raise your vibration - Eliminate complaining and cultivate GRATITUDE in your life. Be grateful everyday all day. This will make you feel good! Recommended book: Flip The Gratitude Switch by Kevin Clayson

3. Clear limiting beliefs from a subconscious level - This was the one thing that gave me a major breakthrough. I changed my mindset using meditation and subliminal. These are all over YouTube.

4. Take Action. Any action. Meet the universe halfway. Don't just wait around for a miracle. Miracle = Extraordinary Effort + Unwavering Faith according to my favorite author Hal Elrod, book: The Miracle Equation. You can read that for motivation. DO THE WORK!!!

    First does not work.

Second, may work, but l couldn't be bothered, (for want of a better word).

Three, can't really sit down for that one, it happens slowly.

Four, I agree with, eventhough when the universe has a storm cloud hanging over your head, in what seems like forever, and it has become a cloud with lightening, l guess that is where the extraordinary effort comes in.

The book you mentioned is probably similar to Think Big, and the like, which dissects basic concepts to infinitum, and overdoes generalizations till the cows come home, but there can be one or more helpful worlds in them.

People want wealth and some rob to get there, but they don't have the mental capacity to maintain that, and some work hard and go through hell, then have the capacity to maintain and grow wealth, as much as that sucks.

An interesting experiment would be to ask any wealthy person, how they got that way.
I wonder how many will talk about raising their vibration?

Those you talk with probably put it in terms of prater faith trust in God . Or some traditional religious terms.

I have had to spend the last few years releasing a lot of built up anger.and practice forgiveness turns out the forgiveness was mainly of myself.

I have also massively elimited much of what was causing me stress . .

No going back to secular terms I have found you don't raise your vibration to attract or manifest anything . Those higher vibrational states or better feeling state are their own reward

And once you get them there is much less need to manifest goals or attract anything

I've been on a similar journey Odahh.

I had a traumatic experience when I was 15 which gave me social anxiety and later contributed to mental illness. Anyway I once said: "You can't change the past, however you can change the way you
        think about the past."
For many People it takes a certain amount of humility and courage to face their past and do something about it.

I somewhat agree with that thought: Because I've been through so much -- and am now in a good place and living a wonderful Life -- I'm grateful on an almost daily basis. And although it's not intentional ... The "higher vibrational state" has resulted in more "blessings". : )

I'm glad you brought that up, because it's true. Most of my successful friends are religious (as most people are), and they tend to say things like "I've really been blessed".

But that's completely different from believing that all you have to do is chant, pray, visualize, repeat a mantra, post photos on a "vision board" and your life will change.

The religious successful people put forth the effort first, they do the work first..and then their cultural leanings force them to credit a deity. Others may credit luck.

The people that believe in the Woo Woo here, are never achievers. They are hopeful. They want something external to themselves....the universe... to solve their problems.

And the problem is, the universe doesn't care about any of us. And so these people wait...and wait ...and wait. And post their beliefs here.

well when you can post the wuu wuu believes and not traditional religious beliefs .. thats what you get but im fine with the religious stuff being left out of here .

in any case over the last few years i have learned more to communicate with the universal force ..not the universe . which leaves a lot of human intermediaries out. and many times what comes to me is stuff i didn't want to hear and hurt a bit .. but was stuff i needed to fix in my life . behaviors and habits .

and no one else has to believe what i am saying but its my truth .. the main thing i want to attract(i wont go into it here or with other humans) ..is getting a big old no and i need to release that thing ..because it is not something that will lead to a long happy life ..

sitting and witing might be something one needs to do .. but it is only until one get inspiration on what to do next ..

if one whines and doesn't want to do that thing.. there is just more waiting or things get worse

Good point. It does seem that visualizing is good for priming the brain. I allow negative thoughts whenever they come up in my reptilian survival brain. But then I work on mentally constructing different internal scenarios in my mind that offer me a degree of hope. And from that place I modify my images until they are too my liking. I do this not to attract anything, but to give me clarity on how to act. Actions are great because they provide an immediate feedback loop, moving me toward the 20 percent that will get things done. If there is anything to the law of attraction, I'd say it's more about returning again and again to the stillness behind it all. Earplugs are cheap and work great for going deeper. And once we turn off the chatter, we are more likely to get some inspiration, or at least a few thoughts different from yesterdays thoughts.

Lol Good point Claude. Personally I liked Jess' comment: I think it was something of an "expression." Another one I like is "Extraordinary things happen to ordinary People." And if quotations/thoughts/etc. like that give People comfort and hope, then why discredit them?

Because, as Claude illustrated, they're just empty platitudes. Worse, they may actually encourage false hope or entrench people in their comfort zone.

Just because a Person believes in a "thought/etc." doesn't make it an "empty platitude." That's just the perception of another Person. Personally I have learned a great deal of knowledge from reading "Personal Development" books.

We weren't actually discussing them, but I wonder why you were so quick to equate the term "empty platitude" to personal development books. Still, to each his own.

Good point. Simply because ― like you and Claude have demonstrated ― many People don't "believe" in "Personal Development Books." Like they don't believe in "Positive Thinking" or "Positive Statements." Again ― they have been Life-Changing for me.

Some of you are cracking me up with your responses to this thread. Seems mos of you are in support of action taking. So I have a question. Did I take action or not? Let me explain.

Back in late 2016, I developed two separate problems with my eyes. My left eye had a shadow that I could barely see through or around. But my right eye had the biggest problem. It was running water like crazy. And at odd times throughout the day, that water would burn my eyes like someone pored Clorox into it. It was a mess and just the day before this happened, nothing was wrong with my eyes.

I hope the problem would go away on it own cause I was broke and couldn't afford the doctor fee. My only solution was the law of attraction. My back was against the wall y'all.

I read a post from a guy talking how blessing himself everyday was doing wonders for him. I tried it out. I was suffering everyday and this whole blessing thing didn't seemed like it was working at all.

But I kept going because it's not like I could just borrow the money. It took about two month for some results to finally show and boy was I glad about it. When the burning stopped altogether, no one was more happier than I was. I kept the practice up for another month until my both my eyes were back to normal. To this day, I never had that problem again.

I promise you, I'm not making this story up.

I believe you completely. Your eyes eventually got better (like many ailments do)...and while they were getting better you spent time "Blessing yourself".

Had you spent the same amount of time yodeling, I suspect your eyes would have also gotten better over the same amount of time.

Believing that chanting...or "blessing yourself" is going to actually cure anything, while not seeking medical help isn't harmless.

That kind of thinking is wide spread, and causes real consequences, especially if the "believer" is making medical decisions for others.

I'm not sure if you're referring to your list? Many of the quotations and statements I've read and collected have been very helpful. And I'm sure countless other People have found them valuable as well.

I agree Claude. In fact I was going to post something like that myself. I think one of the most harmful could be "Christian Science" ... However I haven't researched it enough to be fair.

When gullible people eat up the empty platitudes .it can open the door for a cult leader type person.

Shana, you can apply the same logic, or lack thereof, to breaking your ribs and blessing yourself daily for 2 months until they heal.

To me - following the steps in the OP is spending a lot of time getting ready to get ready to start doing something. Some people may need that - some get stuck in that 'preparation' mindset and never move on from it.

    Honestly John ,

I have heard some very awful stories from people about their pasts. The last few years and well all my adult life. I have had my share of missery but all mental emotional never physical trauma

In the last few months I have become rwalativly snobbish and brutal.

I want nothing to do with people who wallow in their past and hold their pasts up to explain why the have such miserable lives.and are not willing to do anything to improve their selves .

Or even forget improving many need to start at halting the things they are doing that make things worse for them and those around them.

Does a person make the choices they make today based of the messy life or nasty things that they remember in the past .or are the making choices that will over time build a better future.

Even if in between here and there many uncomfortable thing are likely to happen

I will admit that I tend to need life to beat me up a bit to show me where I need to improve things .

      Me too. (Lol)

Seriously though, one of the Personal Development books I'm Reading at the moment is "Start Where You Are" by Chris Gardner. And it's just phenomenal -- learning something from every chapter. Gardner is the Guy the Will Smith movie "Pursuit Of Happyness" was based on.

I would recommend it especially to Entrepreneurs and People who are going through (or have been through) difficult circumstances. For those of you who may be interested, here's the Amazon page.

If a horoscope says that all electrical or electronic devices are going to be less cooperative in three years time, and that happens then it isn't a lucky guess or prediction made with using statistical analysis it is something else.

I have had a rough time over the last 6 months, (in a Financial Sense Only) and the last two have been hellish, or my investment money has had to go into living expenses, and l am waiting forever for a back payment to arrive, which could be weeks.

This is when l am getting so good at trading that l can consistency make money from it, but l cannot do so at present.

Or a bit like a V8 being caught in the mud.

All of these events and what l am going through was set down decades ago, or impossible to predict without there being something in planetary alignments!

You are right. It's mindless chance. if you read 100 horoscopes, at least a few predictions will come true.

And how would a horoscope predict that all electrical gadgets will be less cooperative in 3 years time? Horoscopes are specific to your birthday. Did the horoscope mean that electronic gadgets will work less effectively if you are a Capricorn? Did every horoscope that day, for every sign, say the same thing ?

No l don't read hundreds l read two mainly and both, predict similar occurrences at the same points at the month. Some are general or cover everyone, but most are specific to one sign.

Everything is made up to atoms, and atoms at its core is made up of energy, so planetary alignments affect that aspect.

So far this month my firefox browser has slowed, and another issue has cut the top of my browser window off, to name the main tech, issues, or more issues than usual, (l didn't will or want these to happen, who would).

Soooo you are consistently good at trading to make money..but not now? Did you know that being good at investing means that you actually make money?

So...planetary alignments are what affect your ability to invest?
Lol, no, l have tried a few different platforms and most didn't give out much, but after running an analysis, l can make on average $50 US, (probably $75 AU when converted) for every $1000 l have.

And every month that compounds, so l make that profit plus the profit on the previous profit.

All of that has gone into living expenses, since an extra $75 a month is not enough to not stop me from having to pull it.

The monthly Wi Fi alone would pull that out.

A year ago l knew something nasty was going to take place around this time, but l downplayed or ignored it.

And horoscopes work in varying degress on the stockmarket, sometimes quite well and others not really; you will most likely put that down to Whack a mole in the dark, but l believe that there is something more to it than that.

    (1) There are those who are smart chaps and maybe even lucky and strike gold.

    (2) And then there are those who programmatically insert commands in the subconscious in order to form the right decisions and come up with answers in their lives.

So we have two groups. The second is the one who is CONSCIOUS of their success (2). They usually just "get it" and don't have to work as helots to bring home the bacon. They are enlightened and what is work, doesn't seem like work.

Being conscious of what is about to happen means that you program your reality instead of being sucked in by the matrix.

Every time we see the universe as giving, forgiving, angry, or helpful, it's just our brain trying to anthropomorphize inanimate objects.

Hi Claude: While I don't personally think The Universe responds to a Person's thoughts ― or that People send out "vibrations" (etc.) ― (and I could be wrong) I am open to the possibility that we "affect" things outside of our heads. Again, could be wrong.

I know you don't like the concept, however I think having an open, inquisitive Mind is important for learning. At one point in time most people thought The Earth was at the centre of The Universe.

And I have that. I don't mean to single you out, but you mentioned it...an "Open mind".

Literally every time I have heard someone say that someone else should have an "Open mind" it was because they wanted someone to accept a nonsensical irrational idea as fact...without reason...without evidence...without thought. Every time.

If what you were proposing was real, you would have given the reasoning for it, or provided evidence...not asked someone to be "Open minded".

Yes, and it was science, not superstition, not religion, not pseudoscience that changed everyone's mind. In this "Earthcentric" example, you are the one saying that the Earth is in the center of the universe, and are asking me to be more open minded about it.

in fact, this entire thread is about being open minded to nonsense, like the Earth being the center of the universe.

We don't send signals...we don't manifest. Our brains simply don't work that way. The problem with these beliefs is that they stop real learning. They stop the process of finding out how things really work.

The key to real learning is to keep learning past the nonsense that isn't true, except in your imagination.

And as much as it pains me to say it...the Mind Warrior section isn't the place to learn.

Sometimes, when someone doesn't seem open minded, it's because they know more, not less.

I'm sorry to hear that ... However I have a different perspective/experience with the phrase.

For me it means for a Person to be curious, open to learning, humble, and not to think or pretend they understand everything. That's part of The Law Of Attraction by the way ― because of your thought/belief of the concept of being open-minded ― you can't see past that and so don't appreciate or understand another point of view.

Again, being open-minded also means forgetting about your preconceived definitions so you can learn something new.

Another bad argument, that strongly indicates a nonsensical position is saying thast the person you are trying to convince "thinks they know everything". It's one step away from saying "Well, I don't pretend to be perfect like you".

It's another dodge. Another way to avoid arguing on the merits, and discussing something rationally.

Let me help you. Here are the arguments that are always given when discussing these nonsensical ideas. they are never used for any other purpose.

              1) "You don't know everything"
              2) "You need to be open minded"
              3) "You need to be open to the experience"
              4) "There is a grain of truth in every myth"
              5) "500 people can't be wrong"
              6) "Some things we just can't understand".

I do have to admit that you haven't used the term "Quantum mechanics" yet, the ultimate sign that the person wants you to believe nonsense.

And then there are the questions like
"You can't prove that it isn't so, can you?"
"How do you explain (some nonsensical claim assumed to be true)?"
              "So, you've never been wrong?"

Name calling is usually next, because it's frustrating not having real information to argue with. So far, I've never seen you do that.

One way to know if someone is spouting nonsense is, they never argue the facts, or give rational arguments. They never seek to really understand how something works. It's always something like this...

"Preconceived definitions". And by that it means "Let go of that bothersome science you trust in, and just accept what I say at face value"

By the way, that was a well written post you just gave. I'm not joking.

And...I would love to learn something new. I do it every day. And I love being shown that I'm wrong. That's another way I learn. But bad arguments are bad arguments, no matter how much I want them to be true.

I'm not going to respond to all that Claude ... Because I honestly can't be bothered. (Lol). You keep your beliefs/values/concepts/etc. And I'll keep mine.

That's part of The Law Of Attraction by the way ― because of your thought/belief of the concept of being open-minded ― you can't see past that and so don't appreciate or understand another point of view.

Again, being open-minded also means forgetting about your preconceived definitions so you can learn something new.

Ah ok. So you define "preconceived definitions" as "whatever it is that Claude believes"

A quite sensible definition that ought to be inscribed in the UN charter.

Actually in that sentance I was talking in general. And I stand by what I said. The problem many people have is that they're kind of "stuck" in their own beliefs (etc.) and often can't see anything outside of them. Hey it's something I experience sometimes as well ...

However the difference is that I'm aware of it.

One of the classic examples would be People believing that rich/wealthy People are greedy/unethical/etc. and only interested in making money.

That is literally the definition of belief. Believing something stops learning. It's a bulletproof shield against learning anything new.

This is different from an opinion. In an opinion, you know it's a point of view, with a belief, you think it's a reality...a certainty.

Oh? Everyone thinks that. It's a flaw in cognition to assume that you know how others are thinking.
For example, it's impossible for me you know what you are thinking, or your thinking process, just as it's impossible for you to know what I'm thinking, or how I'm thinking.

We tend to read a lot into what someone is saying, and make generalized assumptions based on what was said.

Sometimes that's true. And that's what I was referring to ― I suppose. However I think that some beliefs can lead to greater understanding. For example let's say a Person has the belief that Wealthy People could actually be quite generous, that may lead to them reading a Book where they will learn more beliefs, values, concepts, etc.

if you believe some trait will prevent you from building wealth and you have a few traits you think wealthy people dont have.. are you vibrating and sending a signal to the universe to some external force ..or is it you sending a message to you telling yourself a false story that keeps you away from doing anything to build wealth .

how you think about yourself is the signal you will send out to the world around you and people smell it hear it see it feel it when they are around you .. it comes out in how you speak.how you dress how you walk ..how you carry yourself around others . the situations you put yourself in .or the situations you let yourself stay in.

i am not a result of the people around me .. the people i have around me are my results ..and my choice .. i am fine being alone if i have people around me ..i am learning something from the relationship..and i have no problem moving a thousand miles away or more and getting new people around me in day.. and usually different . .. i will not let the people around me box me into a limited way of being. .

Have you ever considered that usually, for arguments with substance, you do not need to ask for open mindedness of the participants?

E.g. Suppose you were a salesperson trying to persuade a medieval king of the effectiveness of the machinegun.

You wouldn't need to say:"Be open minded".You'd just fire a burst into a crowd and ask for gold, women, and horses.

Why don't you have doctors and physicists saying "You need to be more open minded"

Thanks Odahh. I definitely think there's some truth to that. In fact it's been said that People "attract" as a result of who they are. As John Templeton (Billionaire Philanthropist) said:
"Good attracts good." Generally speaking I think that's true. : )

                            That's a fair enough point.

However let me ask you: How did we find -- and will continue to find -- cures/vaccines/medicine/etc.? Just by understanding what was already there, or by having an open-minded/"inquisitive" approach? Wanting to discover as much as we can -- and believing that there was more to understand than what we already knew. It's been said that: "Imagination is more important than knowledge."

This thread is getting off topic so I thought I would add another John Templeton quote: "An attitude of gratitude creates blessings." (This this has been 100% true in my experience.) So for those reading definitely practice it.

I'm sorry to say, it's not up to your audience to accept your claims: the burden of proof in this case is entirely on you.

Why not try an empirical approach instead:
e.g. try to use LOA exclusively get more toilet paper and post the results.

                            Of course, that's correct.

It's interesting here to watch people argue against reasoning, against knowledge.

And yet, everyone thinks they are the reasonable one.

It's interesting to watch. But you have to know that reason won't help in these kinds of discussions. You can't reason someone out of an irrational argument.

Scientists, not New Age thinkers, discovered these cures...by relentless testing, documenting results, testing again, using the scientific method. The opposite of what you are talking about.

And Albert Einstein said "Imagination is more important than knowledge" because he was talking about theoretical physics. And the "imagination" he was talking about was the ability to hold complex ideas in your mind, and extrapolate what happens if you affect the construct in certain ways. He wasn't talking about imagination like wishful thinking. He was talking about engineering, science, based on an incredibly deep knowledge base. He was using advanced math, which is the kind of imagination physicists use.

Fair enough. That makes sense. : ) However, just because I didn't provide a good example, doesn't discredit what I said -- just how I presented it. IMO imagination is important in many pursuits. An athlete for example would use their imagination to rehearse and practice ... (I'm sure there are countless more examples.)

IMO imagination is important in many pursuits. An athlete for example would use their imagination to rehearse and practice ... (I'm sure there are countless more examples.)

but they still acctually practice and do the workout and training and watch their diet.. and do all they need to do for recovery .. yes they may have visualized and dreamed and all the law of attraction stuff but they still put in the work they needed to put in to get there .

but many actually enjoy the hard work they put in..

many try to envoke the loa to get around the hard wrok that needs to be put in ,

when you preview lifes comming attraction .. it help with putting the effort in to shoot the movie you want

You see, Jonathan, you're not arguing for your beliefs. You're hoping that by quoting Einstein, it brings some sort of legitimacy to your posts.

You know...we could use a friendly wager to settle this:

We first agree on an experiment that is falsifiable, measurable and preferably amusing
as well as the yardsticks for success or failure. (e.g. How many rolls of toilet paper can I get in a month using LOA?)

If I win, you will change your avatar to an avatar of my choosing that you will sport for a month.

Of course, it's only fair that if I lose, you can choose an avatar of your choosing for me to sport for a month.

So to the LOA practitioners (that are regular posters):
Are you willing to wager your avatar? Do you believe or are you really trying to convince yourself and are gonna chicken out? Shall we begin negotiations?

                                    It's really simple:

Instead of having yet another stale discussion where you don't want to budge even an inch,we wager.

                                    Step 1:

You and I agree on a concrete test to see if LOA is real. It has to be simple enough so that neither of us has much wiggle room for argumentation.

E.g. "I will get 40 times 24 rolls of toilet paper with only using LOA in less then a month and without cheating (going to the store, using my credit card on amazon or asking my relatives for TP)"

This is a clear statement: it's pass or fail. True or false.

Surely if you can use LOA to attract olympic medals and billions , you can use it to collect common household items?

                                    Step 2:

The wager. Because it's more fun with a wager.
                                    I propose our respective avatars.

If the LOA fails us, then I pick a funny image on the internet, and you have to use it as a forum avatar for a month.

Of course, if somehow the LOA wins, the tables are turned.

                                    Deal?

If you can't even find a household staple with LOA , why would you possibly believe you can win an olympic medal or billions or whatever with the LOA?

You're not even willing to wager on something that should be a trivial problem for the almighty universe?

These are fair questions. It's like thinking you can take on a final boss in a video game but you can't even pass level 1.

I don't know what it means, because it's such a general statement.

If I said "Patience is strength", would I be right? Wrong? It's a pithy statement that sound like it may be profound, like Einstein's statement.

By the way, I just can't stop myself from saying this, to the few rational thinkers here..

Jonathon's last post to me was a typical "Oh yeah, then what about...?" response.

It's so commonly used that it seems reasonable, at least an expected argument.

But here is what is going on, at an unconscious level. (I don't specifically mean Jonathon, but people that use this type of argument)...

They say something...you explain why it isn't true. Rather than argue their point, they switch to something else. a quote is easiest, it takes nothing other than repeating it. In pseudoscience the argument is usually "Oh yeah? Then how do you explain....?"

And on it would go, until eventually, because nobody knows everything about everything, you would say "I don't know"...and then the other person says "Exactly my point. You don't know"...and then they feel that they won the argument.

Of course, nobody is conscious of these thoughts...but I have seen this type of argument play out. Usually about religion, but also about conspiracy theories, new age treatments, and superstitions.

It even has a name. It's called God Of The Gaps. It's a way to continually ask questions about a scientific subject, until you find a question the rational thinker cannot answer...and there is where the superstition (or other belief) creeps in.

Here's a link that describes it more fully.

No tests. That's the doctrine of all pseudoscience and magical thinking. No tests.
Why? Because testing would make it real. And on a deep unconscious level all believers in magical thinking know...they know...it's nonsense. But it's fun nonsense that makes their life more interesting.

A few years ago, we had a Forum member tell us that he could pick lottery numbers...because he had super powers. another member put it to the test. A date was picked, and many members picked lottery numbers.

As the date got closer, the "Super powered member' started hedging, lowering expectations, until it was no better than random chance.

Of course, he got two numbers right (out of sequence) which is exactly random chance. He declared victory.

What did I learn from this? Because he kept lowering expectations, it gave ample evidence that he knew...deep down...that this was nonsense. But it gave him a feeling of importance...a fun feeling...an interesting life.

But remember. NO TESTS. an offer of a test will be treated as a joke, or dismissed by "I never gamble". But rarely accepted. and in the rare case that it's accepted, the result will be dismissed as a false result, or bad luck, or the stars being misaligned.

Jonathan; This isn't personal, although I know it feels like it. I'm attacking your arguments, not you personally. I just have a pathological hatred for bad arguments, usually directed at myself.

OK: So sometimes I can't construct good "arguments" (etc.) I'm not a professional debator. And sometimes I see the value in quotations that may be out of context of the original meaning. (Many times my thinking is accurate, by the way).

Well, that's the thing: you don't have to. I've built a ready made, cookie cutter, custom argument just for you in the form of the TP challenge.

Watch this video, it is about a book that can predict the future:

Now imagine if a TP truck gets into an accident in front of your house with exactly 48 packs of TP in front of you on day 30 of the challenge before midnight.... All of us would be as flabbergasted as the cowboy in this video. This is how bulletproof the TP challenge is.

If you accept the TP challenge, you will have concrete evidence upon which to launch your career.
You could write a whole book about it and you'd be rich.

If not, well, you'll just have a funny avatar for one month. It's all upside and very little downside.

In any case, we'll both be entertained in this time of coronavirus.

I have been trying to trade for 2 years, and got a handle on it the last year Claude, or trading is like learning to drive a manual car, which is a nightmare initially until it becomes automatic, or you drive without thinking and can concentrate on driving.

It is also crucial to pick how steep a hill you want to drive down, too steep and you may not be able to get back up.

The TP challenge have been designed with the following :

-First of all, it's dangerous to go out just to get TP. He might violate lockdown depending on where he lives. Or he might get corona.

-In my area, TP is 15$ (!) per pack. Do the math.

-It's unlikely even in normal times that he gets to buy 48 packs at just one store. He'd have to visit a lot of them.

Of course, I don't want to 2.0 to do all these things: that's the point.

So cheating is literally risking your life for TP.

See... the easiest way to win the TP challenge is (if LOA is true) is simply to apply LOA religiously until a truck carrying TP gets into an accident in front of his place.

I should have emphasized the point that Jonathan can change the thing being wagered on if he so wishes: All I ask is that the wager have an easy true/false outcome to verify and low enough odds so that we can't dispute the results.
Yes, even if l was Jonathan l would be changing the wager, (it isn't fun getting up early and punching seniors).

And he could also go to Fiverr, and fake the invoices and images, (at least when l did the Lotto challenge, anyone in AU, could have photocopied the ticket and scanned it at any AU, newsagent, to verify that it was legit.

And l am not saying that he would do that, just saying.

A few years ago l also accurately predicted what Bitcoin was going to do in March the next year, after that l screwed up, but l got the hump right and how high it was going to go.

Also the reason l don't want to discuss present conditions, since A l don't want any more stress, and B, it is going to get really ugly, (not for me, since l see it as a once in a lifetime opportunity).

Groan, no not really, l am stressed enough with the goon squad in shopping centres giving me the boot every time l sit on one of their seats, and the destitute broke, waiting for backpay thing.

Not much point anyway, eventhough l could show a stock l invested in, and how much it made, which would be dismissed as dumb luck or l invested til l got lucky and so forth.

It isn't really the case of facts and evidence more along the lines of past trauma, pigeonholing and bending everything to that box of worms, when a discussion takes place.

I have been trading for years, and have developed a few trade secrets, which are secret, but suffice to say, the ASX200, and S&P500, are in their early stages, (the current rise is a phantom) and will give the 2008 crash a run for its money.

Much of it is the company they keep. If they are in a religious group...or a group of people that believe in UFOs, ghosts, luck, deities, superstitions, the occult (I could go on)....they are supported by rituals, mutual encouragement, social structure, and a tribe mentality.

The truth is, we all feel these things to one degree or another, but some beliefs require a social structure, ritual, customs, herd mentality to even exist at all.
A dead giveaway that you are hearing a nonsensical idea, is if they won't argue the facts, but will argue the idea that you won't support them.

Some ideas that are widely accepted are so nonsensical on their surface that even questioning them is socially unacceptable. and if you ask questions, it's considered a personality defect.
For example, if I mentioned one specifically, this post would be deleted. It's just the reality we live in.

Something that works for me is seeing those circumstances as something that you can learn from. For example for a Person to develop and practice courage -- which is "mastery" of fear, not absence of fear -- they have to have a certain amount of fear in their Lives.

Similarly, a Person can build confidence in themselves by responding and acting positively to difficult People and circumstances. It's been said that a Person can develop certain qualities by experiencing that exact opposite of those qualities. You can learn something from almost anything. : )

My all time favourite quotation from Napoleon Hill ("Think And Grow Rich") is: "Every adversity, every failure, and every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit."

Are you willing to wager your avatar? Do you believe or are you really trying to convince yourself and are gonna chicken out? Shall we begin negotiations?
Unfortunately this won't work, since Jonathan will get up early, fight everyone and grab what he needs.

But l did pick up some paper towels yesterday, (which was a miracle) but it wasn't really, l just through going to several Coles, Safeways learned which shops gave me the best odds, and kept going to them.

I expect to come across some toilet rolls eventually, not through meditating every day, just through dumb luck and playing the odd,s.

I have to admit its been a while since I've completed a game in good and due form. I do like RPGs quite a bit but since theyre also the most time consuming, I can't remember the last time I've finished one (I think it was FFX-2 a couple of years ago).

Last game I finished was DOOM 2016

And l also predicted twice how many numbers l would get, and was right both times, (l provided the receipts before drawing)!

See, the large number really is to prevent this kind of arguments happening.

The skeptics would have to at least concede that the odds were against him. We wouldn't be able to say:"Well, you just got up early, punched a few seniors citizens in the face and stole their TP."

I should have emphasized the point that Jonathan can change the thing being wagered on if he so wishes: All I ask is that the wager have an easy true/false outcome to verify and low enough odds so that we can't dispute the results.

john .. knowledge starts as imagination that get proven ... every medicine is the result of thousands or tens of thousands of different test or many many more ...until they are proven to work .

the last several years has proven that humans tend not to shape their view of reality based on the facts .. but they chose the facts they can find to support the view of reality they hold . or just use their imaginations to manipulate the facts .

the quote on gratitude works ... because you start viewing many more things as blessings . many thing in the past you view as negatives or bad .. and you can get a duel view of the bad or uncomfortable thing as you go through them ..

Personally I think there's a lot more to it than that ... However it's just my opinion.

Posting about my results won't make much of a difference but upon visualization I get my treats from the universe here and there. Some are big some small and then some. Results will vary.

E.g. what if I use visualization techniques to prevent u from getting toilet paper (not of course that I consider myself anyone's sworn enemy, not even Claude's)

Visualization is fine . if what you visualize leads you to things you can do now to eventually achieve the visuals .

visualization is a way to simulate experience ..to chose what to do in the future .but we need to have actual experience to truely weed out the thing we really want and what we thought we wanted but really din't care about ..nice to have but doesn't matter .

i visualize my perfect little house with a few acres of land that produces almost all the food i and my pretty Filipino wife eat in a year .i got the ideal bathroom in my mind ..the perfect kitchen..but i am still in the mode where i put all my thing in a suitcase move get on an airplane a few thousand miles away and live there for 6 or 7 month to a year before i do it again .

i came back up to massachusetts 3 weeks ago..a month and a half ago it was way out of my mind to do it my vibration was never want to live where it gets cold again.. but my brother needed help up here for a few months ..

and it was amazing timeing for all that has gone on .. now i have all new stuff and will have to buy a new suitcase before i go where ever i go next once the world gets going again.

What kind of feeling to you think someone would get have480 rolls of TP . That would be 3 years of to for me maybe 4

See Johnathan doesn't need to manifest anything to feel better .he has notebooks full of out of context motivational quotes.

Who needs results in other places or things you can practice on a daily basis

And what kind of video game RPGs are the only game I would bother getting to the last boss

        Hey!

Seriously. although it isn't something I would say in real conversation. I have said similar things just to see if the person would agree with me...a test of independent thought and intelligence.

The psychopath in me is buried deep (Mostly due to an unusually gifted and adorable wife), but it's still there.

i am responding to oth .. this one required no deleting hahah

anyway although i observe and believe the law of attraction..anyone with wealth who mentions using it also puts in much higher levels of intense work.. they don't use loa to avoid work.. it aims them right at work that satisfies them .. and gives them something to accomplish ..

it wouldn't take someone who really knew how to use loa..5 years or more to launch a website that inspires people .

Play hard or gtfo and go home

That's how I would sum it up. And you can cut down the list from initial post by 50%, just do #1 - with real notebook/diary and #4 - repeat those too until you get somewhere Don't overcomplicate and "mentally masturbate" on things that don't need that, every thing else you will work out while taking action (#4).

The simplest thing is to "change your habits". These are the small things, that, when compounded together, will give you the results you want in the long run.

Of course, it easier said than done, but it's definitely achievable.
