6 Tips from a favorite coach of mine today...

A favorite realty coach of mine shares an email with weekly realtor tips that are often fine for plenty of folks, not just realtors. In case they can help anyone on your end, here you go with this week's:

"Many of you sent me notes saying that you ordered the book titled "Stay Positive" that Laurie had given me for my birthday. I'd like to share a couple more of the hundreds of great quotes from that book with you today.

1) Repeat after me ... today I will be positively contagious.

2) Don't get bitter ... get better. Find the lesson in what you do and move on.

3) Don't let busyness and stress cause you to focus on what's urgent only versus focusing on what's most important for the day.

4) Life is meant to be lived forward ... learn from the past but don't live there. Today is a new day to create a better tomorrow.

5) Being great someday starts with being great today.

6) This is a quote from Earl Nightingale that he repeated to us time and time again ... You have to be willing to do what most people won't do in order to do what most people want to do. Earl Nightingale called this "the common denominator of success."

Enjoy the summer, but let's make this a productive week."

Thank you so much for these. Although these may seem like simple sayings the amount of depth contained in them is enormous.

Just remembering a few of these each day will help you to get through your day. Some days when I'm working online it's hard to keep your motivation up. Sometimes you feel like you want to give up and throw in the towel. You have to talk positively to yourself to keep yourself pressing forward.

Again thank you for these tips.

I agree! I've sure needed more motivational / inspirational info and self-talk in my days to counteract all the negativity out there today, wow.

there is not more negativity out there today..but if you chose to look for it there are more ways to find negative things to look at out there . which is actually causing people problems ..

we are currently in a worldwide process of taking a wrecking ball to how we have always done things..it may be painful now and for the next few years ..but many things we have now would have been considered magic 100 years ago and before ..so we get to design a new world based on magic ..

each individual though ..has to reach out and chose which tools they will use to create their life as they choose ..as mostly all the default premade life plans are getting tossed on bonfires or run through shredders .

are you liveing today as a result of your unwanted past..or are you creating and living today based of the future you want to create .

I like this one: "Did you really have a bad day? Or did you just let a bad 20 minutes ruin the rest of your day?"

I'm a big fan of Mike Ferry. I'm not even in the real estate industry, but I often listen to his podcast because so many of his insights are universal.
