How to Fail and still Succeed

As a perfectionist, a lesson I learnt this year the hard way is, success is not about committing no mistakes and you will succeed. You can still commit no mistakes and still lose. Before you find success, you will fail or lose. But you must keep pushing forward until you find success. Otherwise, you've just wasted your time.

Sir Winston Churchill says:

"Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm."

Failure is not your enemy, It's your friend.

I recently came across a tweet that said:

"Your first podcast will be awful.

Your first video will be awful.

Your first article will be awful.

Your first art will be awful.

Your first photo will be awful.

Your first game will be awful.

But you can't make your 50th without making your first.

So get it over with, and make it."

So if you want to move ahead, in anything, like Nike, I am encouraging you to, "Just Do It" even imperfectly.

Sorry I just achieved higher enlightenment a few hours ago.

In my new reality there is no success to be found. It is always your creation. No matter what situation you are in.

Failure is that point you accept how things are and accept far less than they could be and turn your powers of creation against yourself.

And now I will walk the path of a guru . Witness the birth of guru hangover. I shale shine a light of awesomeness onto the world.

In any case there is no fear of failure most of the time people have an expectation of failure for many reasons. Or they just have no real interest and are more afraid of stating their lack of interest.

We live in a world of increasingly widening options for everything. So it is virtually impossible draw a circle around a set of options and call it success. And get any broad agreement with others that that is success. In a world with limited shelf space you could. We live in a world of infinite shelf space.

Success is that point where you accept what things are and refuse to accept less than they should be and accept the powers of creation to bring you to the stepping off point of change. Invite a guru to tea.

I make mistakes each and everyday. It's human nature that we are prone to make mistakes. I just learn to get back up, dust myself off, and keep things going.

    Funny thing about failures....

When you are in the winners lane people will be trying to retrace all the steps you took.

That is an original I just made up I like it.

The best definition for success I heard, in my experience is: Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal choose by you, if you know what you want in life and why and you're working towards it every day, then you're successful, that definition includes all the temporary failures and avoid the idea that success is a point where you get too, a really dangerous idea, because we "spent" most of our time in the journey and not in the destination, many people fall in the trap of: when I get to X, then I'll be happy/fulfilled/calm/successful etcetera...Always something external that will probably change a short time after you get there

It also stands clearly that success set by yourself is what matters, many people are successful in the eyes of society but they feel unsuccessful! Good topic amigo
