Things I've learned through life

Here are a few things I learned through life. Basically I have learned that when I did the opposite a few months or years, and learned the lesson.

1. Do not worry! I was worried because of different things in different parts of my life, and I did not achieve anything except to be blocked. Worry will not help you!

2. Do not be jealous ... It's like a disease that kills the relationship.

3. Laugh. Laugh yourself. You have a choice, or are you laughing or crying. When I cried, life was black. When I laughed, great opportunities were opened. Also help others to laugh, choose joy. Anyway everything will pass.

4. Realize that life is a joke, it's not something serious. This is one of valuable lessons I learned. If you are looking at life as something serious, you will lose the meaning of life. "Life is not as serious as my mind makes it out to be. "

5. No matter how much income you have, it will be little. Therefore, try to spend a little less than you earn.

7. No one can save you, except yourself! I was waiting for someone to save me ... and that person never came.

8. Do not care about other people's opinion! For years I was destroyed thinking about what other people think about me. Everyone has a their belief system, and that’s fine.

9. Many things that you believe now, you probably will not mean anything for a few years. So be open to new things, ideas, people...

10. Act. Your decision is not important if you don`t take determined action.

11. When everything is going as expected, there will occur one of two things ... or it will go better, or something will happen, some challenge, which you will have to resolve, and you will eventually learn valuable lessons and improve.

12. Nothing is impossible. Many, many times happened to me that I said, "it is impossible to get out of this situation", and I tried a little and it became possible.

13. There is no failure. Whenever you make a failure you automatically learn something new. Failure gave me more valuable knowledge than any book I've read.

* I hope I wrote well because English is not my native language. Maybe I made some grammar mistakes, apologize in advance for that.

Here is my favorite about failure:

Great list. Especially number 10. If you don't act, there's not even the chance of success.

  • Thanks ...

    I would also add:

    14. Love yourself!

    15. What all people do, is not always the best.

    16. Perfectionism is impossible for man. It is better to be a man and make the results now, rather than wait to become a God and a perfect "one day".

What advice based on your experience would you give to future generations?

Love yourself and it will give you the confidence to try almost anything. Nothing beats a failure but a try.

Whoever makes the most mistakes wins......provided they learn from those mistakes...

I like #7 - No one can save you, except yourself! Too many people have failed to realise that they need to first help themselves before anyone can help them. They too often blame the government or the economy when things happen, but they just never bother to reflect on themselves before pointing fingers. If you want things to turn for the better, you have to first turn for the better!

    Cheers~

Great post man. Can't stress enough how much I can relate to everything you have said and can't emphasize or priorities any one of the points you have mentioned above as all are equally important and all are priceless.

If I was to add something to that I would say.

Believe in Yourself: If you don't believe in yourself, No one else ever will.

    and

Never Quit : Most of life's failures are people who quit without realizing how close they were to success.

With you all the sucess and Happiness in life.

"Life is to be enjoyed at every level,
even if you don't have $ 1 million in the bank."

This is the thing I've learned through life...

(I just posted the same in another section as a quotation.)

Lots of good stuff in your post here.. However even in all of that so much of it is easier said than done. Just my thoughts though.

Good post - I'd have to agree with everything and perhaps add this little quote I once found:

Everyone wants to live at the top of the mountain - but most of your happiness and growth happen while you are climbing it.

    Best wishes for 2010.
