I have finally realized that the more I focus on money, the less it comes. The more I focus on enjoying my life, sharing my talents with people, and helping people, that's when all of a sudden the money starts coming in. And it's almost effortless.

So I say to you all who are continually striving for more money and worrying that you don't have enough: take a break! Take a really looooong break. Go on, you are far too hard on yourself! Yes, you! Go play for awhile. Take one hour off and have some fun!

You see, taking time to have fun attracts abundance. When you worry, you are just re-enforcing the negative. If you think about making money and not about what you can do to serve, then you are going to have a hard time with money.

Of course I have been reading about manifesting, and mindsets, law of attraction, etc...so after reading all of this stuff, I started to really pay attention to my thoughts and also to how much negativity all of us put out everyday...and how much negativity gets dumped on every one of us every day, especially if we turn on the television and listen to the news!

So when we are aware of our negative thoughts and how they affect our finances and therefore our lives, we now have the daunting task of changing our thoughts to positive ones. It is not easy. I know.

I am one of the most positive people I know. I never give up even though I've been so broke sometimes that most people would pack it in and go get a job. Not me...

Someone told me once during a very low point in my life: "Walt Disney went bankrupt several times before he made it big."

I have never forgotten that sentence, and it is because of that one sentence that I still go on, making mistakes, and trying again. Failing, but learning, then moving on and starting again. And eventually success! Sometimes you accomplish more than you thought you were ever capable of!

Life is full of rich lessons. They have made me strong. Now, my focus has changed. I have a lot to give and I'm honored to be able to share my talents and I believe everyone of us has lots of talents...and we should never try to be anything other than ourselves...never...

Life is good, isn't it? That's my new focus. Life is good!

Yeah, When you give from your heart you will find the universe providing you with everything you need.

If you try to force things to happen they seem to avoid you but when you let go of the need of something you will get it easily.

Karen, Excellent post and great advice. I have found the exact same thing in my life. When I stopped "Trying so hard" that is when the success started to come. I just relax and don't worry. It is amazingly freeing and the more you become your own person the more others are drawn to you both personally and professionally. Maximize your fun in your life --- it will pay dividends!
