Hey Warriors!
I have just posted this on the CYN forum, and interested to see what reply's this post would get here, so here we go!

I just finished shooting my new video about Focus and the Lack of it, so I decided it is a worthy topic to discuss with you aswell.

As human beings we have the Amazing ability to focus our attention on anything we want. It is truly an amazing gift which a lot of people do not utilize properly.

They choose to focus on the negative instead of the positive and by doing that, multiply the negative in their lives.

I can talk about focus for a long time, but since it is a marketing discussion, I will stick to the topic.

"What has Focus to do with marketing?" you may ask, and I would say "a lot!".

As entrepreneurs we often come across great and even Huge business opportunities on the internet.

It can be a website or maybe a guy/girl we just met on MySpace or FaceBook, who is so fired up about the product, that you simply have to go and check out his capture page.(Remember the first rule of marketing: People Join People).

Whatever it maybe, the result is the same, you lose focus of your initial business. And as I said earlier, focus is a huge part of the Success Formula.

If you have experienced that "Jumping" from one business to another, I bet you haven't made any money. That's because you constantly shift your focus from one "great" opportunity to another, instead of sticking to just one or two and really nailing 'em!

You see, when we focus on something, we bring more of it's kind into our life, but it takes time, nothing in this universe is instant (except Nescafe Red Mug).

You need to really "fall in love" with your product/business, get more personal with it, know everything there is to know about it!

Well, I'm one of those who jump from project to project - but I DO make money online. Almost all of my income is made online. But I finish most of my projects, unless I get too bored with them. Perhaps this is the reason.

I have ADD, and I have to change subject very often in order not to get bored. I've learned a lot about focusing in the last year or two. But still, I always have at least three or four projects, I'm working on at the same time.

Wah... I really impressed with you Britt. Before this I easily get distracted with another business opportunity and explore new things before the first project completed. I am working on my focus now... the basic things is to love what you do & believe in it.

      Hello Britt,

Methinks that you are focused. Very focused indeed. The reason I say that is because you stick to your projects till the end. The focus that you have is definitely project based because that's how you work, that's your comfort zone and your strength.

There's lots of kinds of people, and as many types of focus. For your kind of business, dividing effort and time into different projects is the only way to succeed.

I've handled projects before as a project delivery guy in IT. And for large projects, you have to divide it into bite-size chunks and treat each as a smaller project. In fact, one of the tenets of project management is to treat the close out as a mini-project. I do hope that's what you do, as well.

I have to say this is pretty much like me too!
I am usually working on 5-10 tasks at a time, and I do get success in Business online.
But I also get bored sometimes too, and switch to something else.

I think I do work better/faster, when I FOCUS on one task at a time, and try to get it to completion, before moving to another task.
