20 or so years ago I read a motivational book. I THOUGHT is was called The Road Not Taken, and I THOUGHT it was by Wayne Dyer. Turns out I'm wrong on both counts.

I want to give each of my children a copy and I'll be darned if i can find it.

Plot Summary:

A private pilot and his wife are returning from a day trip. When they reach the point where they should see their local airport, all of the terrain is wrong.

Looking down into the shallow waters of the ocean, the pilot sees a golden ribbon. He follows that to a landing strip and discovers that he has entered an alternate reality where he is living the life he would have been living if he had made a certain decision years ago.

The book continues with him cycling through multiple alternate realities.

Anyone know what book this is?

    Hi Lisa,

It sounds to me like "One" by Richard Bach. A great author, I would also recommend "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" and "Illusions".

    Hope that helps.
