The positive outlook...
I know the mantra of must fail to find success in this stuff, but sometimes it is hard to have that 'it is going to turn out all good' attitude I think I have to hold onto/develop more; so when I saw this I thought --- "now that is a great way to look at things!!"
News headline this morning:
6.5 Northern Calif. quake leaves jumble of debris
excerpt from article:
Sandra Hall, owner of Antiques and Goodies, said furniture fell over, nearly all her lamps broke and the handful of customers in her store got a big scare. She said it was the most dramatic quake in the 30 years the Eureka store has been open.
her comment on it:
"We'll be having a sale on broken china for those who like to do mosaics," she said.
I hope to see myself with that type of attitude about my 'non-success' ventures -
and on a even more serious note:
I am glad it was not reported that anyone was injured (it was based off-shore) and wish the best for anyone affected by it!
