Cause and Effect Reality Check.
A Hunter carelessly dropped a lighted match on a Forest floor after lighting his cigarette. The raging fire caused by the match resulted in three hundred acres of vegetation to be destroyed.
In your opinion of cause and effect which one is greater or more powerful, the match or the forest fire?
I have sought the views of many people regarding the above question and received numerous answers, some folks just couldn't think of an answer.
I am of the view that neither of them is greater or more powerful because they are one and the same, which most people agreed with.
As far as God and Man are concerned, if God is the cause (which we are sure of) and we are the effects then why does man think of himself as a separate, inferior entity?
I hold the view that most of us have not been taught to think in this particular way. What's yours?
Regards,
Courtney.
