Same or similar subject for your next project

Let's say that you just finished a report or ebook about debt reduction. Would you be inclined to write another report or ebook about a radically different subject, such as dog training in the next report or ebook?

Are there any additional advantages that outweigh drawbacks in writing about a similar topic?

I'm asking because I'm completing my report and already have two other topics that I wouldn't mind writing about. Just wondering what to do in order to set a good pace in completing projects.

Are you stating that you would be sending that same ebook to the same person who received the debt reduction?

No. The customers who bought the debt ebook would subsequently receive information and perhaps a few offers, while the customers who bought an ebook on dog training would subsequently receive information and a few offers pertaining to that niche. In other words, two different niches, two appropriate (targeted) audiences.

Not sure if this is what you were asking.

You can write a similar book but with different methods or concepts. That'll help get some repeat customers and you'll expand your knowledge on the subject and hopefully be able to find an area of focus for another book.

I think you should stick with one niche until you exhaust all of your ideas and resources. Then you move on to the next one

    Hi Webwriter,

Writing for different niches at the same time is a great way to split-test and see where your nicheing strengths lie.

However, AwesomePossum has a good point about focusing on one niche area before branching out into another one.

Wish you success with your writing.
