    Yes its a great show....


    This is what bothers me though..

    You get all these entrepreneurs people who come on the show to pitch an idea. Most are decent money making ideas and sometimes the pitches are good. But I would say most of the people come on the show asking for a few hundred grand and dont know the most basic of questions about their product. Even the most simple of questions like competition, prices, some dont have prototypes, some dont even have an idea about pricing.


    Maybe its just me being grumpy but if you want somebody to invest in your business, take a weekend to come up with at least a basic business plan.


    Good show though!!!!!!

    I watch it. I really enjoy it. I agree there are alot of people that come on the show that can't answer basic questions, but I enjoy it nonetheless.

      It's a port of a popular British original version titles 'Dragon's Den'
      It's well into 5th or 6th season in the UK, but likewise you can learn a lot about what not to do..

      I never fail to be impressed however, by certain individuals who are 100% motivated to make their ideas work.

      I learn a lot just by watching this show. Search Dragon's Den on youtube and there are some great products on there (some went on to make millions, and some that were rejected by the dragons also made millions!)

      Shark tank is really good. The seasons are only like 6 weeks long, but it's a great show.

      Some really good ideas come out of it too. The hypo-allergenic play dough stuff from Season one was amazing.

      The NuBrella from season two was a pretty good idea but who would really want to walk around with that thing on their head.

    TV hypnotizes people. Unaware that they have been sitting in the same spot for hours staring at a box. Sounds pretty ridiculous if you think of it that way.

    Hello Super Vendor:

    I think the hypnotism is voluntary these days. Most of the folks I know do television while they do ten other things. While I am not a big believer in multi tasking, I must admit I do this too with respect to television.
