Continual learning is the bees knees...

I have been loving writing on my success blog. It's my passion in life to do huge seminars where I can help a couple thousand become successful in life. All the while getting paid a couple hundred per viewer of course...

One of the main things I've noticed with all successful people is that they NEVER stop learning. You can't! There is too much in this world to know to stop seeking more knowledge.

It really doesn't matter if you are learning about your business, about a hobby you love, about being a better husband/wife, whatever. You have to actively try and learn more everyday in your life.

I personally do this by reading. I hated reading when I was in school. I guess because those subjects are forced reading. Today, I read at least 1 hour a day and most of the time 2-3 hours. Like I said above, I'm big into becoming a self help speaker. So, I read a lot of self help books these days.

I want to learn the principles that already successful people follow and continual learning is one big principle they all follow.

One suggestion I would make to actively learn more each day is definitely reading. In an internet marketers case, read an hour of a new WSO or internet marketing ebook in the morning. Then do your best to use the information you learned within that day. You have no idea how much this will help you develop your business at a much quicker rate.

Just give learning a try. It's amazing what it can do for you.

Totally agree - I find I am more energized and motivated when I am learning new things and applying new skills - work seems to fly by and I love doing it, I think if you become stagnant and do the same things over and over it gets boring, but not only because it is repetitive, but because you know it inside out and aren't learning anything - once you start trying new things and reading new techniques then you get energized again.. at least I do

  • I have to also agree. I have am a career Journalist of over ten years. However, I was recently laid off and had to find ways of making ends meet. My inspiration? My husband. He is an incredibly talented man who is well read, and can have a conversation and an argument with even the most educated people. This has inspired me to learn new things. And, as you mentioned, while in school, be it primary, secondary or even college, reading was a drag. Now, I actually enjoy it! One never stops learning, this is true whether you are a Lawyer (laws constantly change), a Doctor (there is always a new medical advancement), Teachers, etc.

      Great post...and I totally agree...

Let's take a legendary quote from Henry Ford - "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young."

Whether its learning to better yourself, or your business skills, making it consistent and a daily habit, even if its 30 mins reading per day, the results will be incredible.
