Goal Management Software: does it help ?

Do you use a tool for helping you manage goals ?

I had previously never tried any 'goal management' tools other than simply writing (or typing) down goals and working towards them. Until recently when I discovered Goalscape - a really innovative app that runs on the Adobe AIR platform.

I find the program is a a fascinating example of how beautifully designed software can help you totally shift mindset. When you organize your goals in this program, it gives you this 'radial paradigm' that has a way of forcing you to look at goals from an inside to outward perspective. I think they have really got something here, and I can attest that it has helped me realize progress more effectively.

You can Google Goalscape if you want to give it a try. I don't have any connection to the program other than I've recently given it a review on my blog.

What I am curious about, is other 'goal management' tools that Warriors are using. Whether you use the old fashion pen & paper, MS Word, or any other tool - do chime in with your current method and how it helps you.

Sure why not? I think if anything makes you think about your goals better and helps you to take more action then it is a good thing. For me just a written piece of paper with what I need to get done taped to my wall. I cross them off as I go.

For me, it would be the journal that I carry around everywhere, so that when I remember something important, I can easily jot it down and so I don't forget anything. Just like Raygun, I feel good whenever I cross out an item on the goal list! The software sounds interesting too.
