List your tasks each day

Each weekend I list everything I want to get done each day of the coming week, if its SEO or getting more sales, completing a project, etc etc.

By the end of the month you achieve so much more than you imagine. Try it out!

Thats really an interesting idea, preparing a list of todo's in the weekend. i am sure it would help me plan my schedule for the week better and at the end of the week i can measure how much i achieved.

I have a marketing schedule that I created that helps me with staying on task as well.
I usually start my work day at 10am. I scheduled everything including my breaks and lunch. It's really important to have a schedule especially if you are doing this full-time.

I agree that it is extremely useful to make a list the tasks you want to accomplish. I write a list of the main topics that I want to focus on and I put that list up over my desk, in my car, on my refrigerator door and by my bed. This way, I keep my attention on what is important to me.

I also believe this helps with the Law of Attraction. As for my day to day tasks. I like to keep a list of them in categories of importance. That way I feel more comfortable knowing that I have a reminder list, particularly so that I won't forget about the lower priority tasks altogether.

Brian Tracey wrote a great book called, "Eat that Frog" about time management, goal setting, procrastination, etc.

Making a to-do list for the week can sometimes be hard to complete.

    Do what I do instead:
Create a to-do list of tasks that need to be done tomorrow before you sleep today.
It's more relevant and more likely to be completed.

Making a list of things to do and prioritizing it in the order of importance is highly effective. I do it everyday. Sometimes I feel lost without my agenda lol

Shaun Lee has a good point. You never know what's going to happen over the week. Things can change. That's why it's a good idea to make a to-do list the night before, or the morning of the next day.

Even so, unexpected things can happen throughout the day that changes your schedule. But at least it's for the day and hopefully not the entire week.

I make a list each day, however I prioritize the list to work on the most important thing I want to accomplish that day.

Thanks for this thread. Sometimes I get distracted, especially reading emails and forum posts and then before you know it, time is gone and work is not!

To keep me on track, I need to sometimes list my task for each hour.
