How I made over $3k Last Week and an opt in list of 5k

I wanted to share with you how I made over 3k in sales last week with about 2 weeks of effort into building and creating the site. It seems like article marketing is hugely popular around here and thats all anyone talks about. So heres what I did that has nothing to do with it!

I created a web site with the graphics being done by a designer here on warrior forums. A simple mini site graphic page does just fine and will run you about $47-$67. The script I used is a membership site called Launch Formula Marketing which allows you to add a rebrander to your PDF file.

I created an ebook in Open office about list building. 1/4 of the book is of blog posts I have made about list building which helped cut down the time to creating it. From here I added in affiliate links, there are currently a little over 30 in it. Many of these affiliate links are of products and services that have to deal with list building and traffic tactics to building your list. Each of these affiliates I wrote to asking them to become a JV member and promote it to their list in exchange for having their site listed in the ebook.

With 30 JV partners on launch day the ebook took in over 1.5k in sales and 400 sign ups from there it kept on rolling and still is to this moment. JV partners where allowed to rebrand the ebook and earn commissions for any OTO orders. While some of the money was made via OTO sales most of it has come from clickbank and other affiliates thats where listed in the ebook.

Just goes to show you, put forth your best information first the secrets and stuff that just kills you to give away. This builds a trusting relationship with your list, creating a more responsive list.

Tactics used here. Rebranding of an ebook I created and giving it away for free. For everyone that signs up under me free and gives away the ebook it includes my affiliate links. This is why many take up the OTO to be able to rebrand the ebook and give it away to their list making it a viral income tool.

    Pretty inspiring Sean. Great job!

Have you ever put out an official press release for any of your products?

A one time offer, so the user should only see that offer once. (Normally offering a ebook or something else.)

OTO stands for a One Time Offer Normally you see these after you join to pick up a free product or service. You can lock in a discounted monthly rate or a lifetime membership

@x3xsolxdierx3x No press release as of yet but think thats next on the table. Did not have much luck with it last time but looking into http://www.prweb.com/ for this at the moment.

I love how you didn't do the conventional route of article or social marketing. Even though those are great methods for building long term traffic that you can step away from, the key to getting quick traffic is building a partnership with other marketers. Find those that have the audience already and give them a reason to talk about you.

It's pretty much the same method I've been using for a new list I've created 2 weeks ago. I have already added 500 subscribers thus far and 75% of my affiliates haven't launched their message yet.

Well done. I like your style. Just goes to show you that you can make a good amount of money in a matter of days if you know where to look.

The critical bit there is all the JVs! Have you got any good tips about getting people on board for the launch without much of a list to start with?

Sure! Stick with JV partners that are already in the industry that you are building your ebook for. Connect with them and talk with them tell them about your new product you are creating and your plans for it and that you are building up a JV list of around 50 JV's.

Buy their products, test them use them promote them get on their radar offer a review on their product they can use on their site or a blog post you made that links to their site.

The key point here is you need to make the first move and help them out first. I would say around 7 out of 10 people you let will gladly return the favor.

Another key point is do not conflict sites. If your at a gas station your going to team up with the company that offers you the least cost gas but at good quality. Same thing here. If your building an ebook about list building then make sure you don't go to other companies that have their own product already about list building. Team up with sites where your ebook helps their members.

Happy to help out I really think if your just starting out if you build a good product and get just a few JV's to help you promote it you will have yourself a decent sized list in which to build you and your business on. It does really all come down to building your list/lists
