But which program did you use to make this money and how long did it take once you put it in place?

Also, did you have to spend any money on tools?

Hi,

I use various methods but the best program is one that I always refer to in my weekly sales report.
Ohh by the way, I started at the end of feb. Tools, various plus I outsource alot of my work.
If you want to make money, you have to spend money on the right tools/programs period.

Hey, there still lots of things you can get for free on the web. There are tons of PLR products that you can get paying absolutely nothing.

The beauty of IM is that education on this topic is almost free.

You are right.
There are so many free tools out there if you do your research well.
PLR is good but I prefer writing unique content because that way am sure about my articles being accepted by the various directories and also ranking well in the SERPS.

Thanks to you all.

One thing I have learnt from internet marketing is that for you to suceed you must avoid "gurus" like a PLAGUE! All they do is distract you from achieving your goal.
Am sorry to say this but the only way gurus make money is by sharing their clients. Every week I get emails from "gurus' promoting the next best thing by another "guru"...it sucks!
The only way I stay focussed is simply delete all "guru" emails - to hell with them!

All the "gurus" are simply greedy and donot really help a newbies cause. Anyhow, that is my personal opinion..
Opps...I made another $59.89 sale! I should leave now and concentrate on my websites.

WSO's...I never buy these. The first I bought was a complete waste of money. One thing you must try to to in IM is avoid "the next big thing"..."the best...."
If you do this and stick to the program you bought then you will most likely succeed at IM.
My blog details how I got to $255! its a long story that I cannot expplain in one post.Just visit my blog and you will understand that IM isn't as easy as the "gurus" make you think it is - damn, IM is a full time job!

Hi Zenji, I got my first CB check recently as well. It was for $181.36 and I scanned it to my desktop. What a marvellous feeling.
However, I confess that I had fallen into the trap you speak about. I kept buying guru stuff with my fingers crossed, so that $181.36 probably cost me thousands in courses and software. D'oh! Still, it felt great to get the check.

I only recently got wise to my own shortcomings and am very glad I did. I wrote a couple of articles as a kind of confession to myself and stuck them on my blog to make them public. That way I can now hold myself accountable.

What are WSOs by the way? Haven't heard that term before.

congrats to your first little success! I can fully understand how you feel because I was over the moon with my first cheque received two weeks ago and that was nothing close to yours! Anyhow, congratualtions on your first check. I reckon that will now propel you to greater heights.
Dvae Gurus are businessmen. they are not bad people. There are so many good gurus out there but the problem we newbies face is that we "jump around" looking for quick success.
I learnt that internet marketing needs patience and dedication. if you have those two attributes, you are on your way to success. Am perfectly sure you will make it now that you have settled down and started "Taking Action"

I use blogger to document my affiliate journey. I have well over five wordpress powered money sites that I do not expose to anyone(I hope you understand why).

No one can take you seriously if you simply use blogger to build a site. I don't recomend it to anyone. Freebies won't take you far in IM.
This week I intend to move to a word press blog(real website) but will still keep the blogger site functional because it has an some good traffic.

Many people tell me that they love my blog and am really happy about that. The simplicity is down to the fact that I personally want you to understand what gurus donot want you to know - IM is hard work!
IM is a just like any other job but gurus want to make you think its easy as! hell no, I spend alot of time doing all sorts of things.
I wonder what others go through. I outsource 95% of my work but even the 5% thats left for me is overwhelming.
If you want to earn money online you have to "TAKE ACTION" and I will highly recomend outsourcing. I know it costs quite a bit but its worthwhile.

I actually started that blog because I wanted to document my entire journey from a total newbie to a full time bum IM. Am loving each day. The best days are when I wake up to find a spike on my clickbank account - its a nice feeling.

It's great that you posted this. With all of the hype about making $10,000 your first month, most people forget that we all have to make $1 first. Nobody makes $10,000 straight out of the box, no matter what great system you are using! You are SO right in getting excited about making $200.

I agree basically with your distrust of gurus, but to be fair, not everyone in the IM "how-to" niche is bad. I learned IM from listening to a few gurus and I continue to get real value out of their membership sites.

You just have to be careful, learn who to trust, find a proven method and stick to it. It is hard work, but I've certainly built a business with far less than full time work and I rarely outsource (yet).

Anyhow, I have no problem with gurus and to be honest I learned from one. However, we donot need gurus to succeed.
A guru only guides you and you must TAKE ACTION if you want success.

All you need to do is Unsubcribe. Thats what I did recently and my productvity levels increased.
Dont get me wrong, Gurus are great if you want to learn but during the course all they do is distruct you with all sort of offers.
And you are right - most times they dont even have a clue about the product/system they are promoting.
I used to outsource 95% of my IM business but am now hands on and am loving it even though its a bit tedious.

I agree with that.For me,most Gurus are just aftering the money.they don't really provide values for what they have to offer.I'm a newbie too and I know how hard it is to earn your first few profits.Plus,I'm just like you Zenji.Just that I started by selling my own product(s) directly and haven't profit anything yet!But it's okay since I've just launched my website a few days ago so all I need to do is just promote my stuffs and my credibility,and HEY,I LOVE writing!Guess it's an advantage for me to create more eBooks!Learnt a lot of things about IM for 2 years

Another successful clickbank story here. No doubt a lot of people quit their jobs and focus on Clickbank and Affiliate marketing because it indeed makes you money without too much effort unlike going to a 9-5pm daily office routine. Great job and keep it up.

Hold it right there. Quiting a job for IM is rather risky until the income is "solid"

AM sorry to hear that. Well to be perfectly honest with you I donot make money from those blogs.
All they do is simply keep me motivated. I would hate to write that i didn't make money in any given week. Without the blogs I reckon I wouldn't be working as hard since no one would ask questions.
Its interesting how many emails I get from followers asking about progress and that challenges me as I have to show everything I do.
If you want success you need to "TAKE ACTION".

I backlink, do article marketing, bookmarking and all that SEO stuff.
Are you new to the forum? there are lots of free tips all over the place but you will NOT SUCCEED unless you TAKE ACTION.
I do not understand what you mean by free but all I can say is that SEO is the way to go. PPC isn't a system for me as yet.

WSO's are great if you actually take time to use them. I am very selective on WSO's and I will not jump easily to get any until an earlier purchase has worked.
The trick to WSO's is buy one. Stick to it until you get good results. Normally you will start to get an indication after say 2 months.
Once that WSO has proved to be a great buy, move on to the next one but keep inplementing the first one!
Am pretty sure you will earn a few $'s if you do that.

"gurus"...lol...they are IM just like you and are here to make money. The only difference between them and some of us is that they started early and now have more experience but dont worry, our time will come!
One thing I like about "gurus' is that if you follow their systems you actually make money online so I guess its a win - win for everyone.

You know, you just hit the nail on the head. The operative word is DELETE! DELETE! DELETE. I have also stopped buying every new software, and buying the promises, you are right. Every now and then there is so solid information to be gained from the so called gurus but for the most part, they are all on the same team, sending out those same emails to try to get your money.

A lot of times, they have not even tried the program to make sure that it works the way the fabulous sales letter claims it does. I am fed up with the C*R*A*P. It takes hard work to make money online. Good for you. I applaud your steady efforts. The good news is that it gets easier, the more money you make because you can then outsource the tedious stuff and then just collect your checks.

Today is one of the most memorable days in my life. I QUIT my full time day!
Am now moving to Perth, Australia and will take on a very basic part time role.

Must have taken a lot of courage to quit your full time day job.

Reading successes on this forum having given me great inspiration (and hope) to earning my my first 'check' online.

I haven't worked in 6 months (just couldn't find work) but recently my old bosses gave me a call and asked for me back.

I agreed but only because I could really do with some income soon.

I start on the in a couple of weeks but really hope I don't have to stay long, through my own choice though!

It took me weeks of thinking this and that but I eventually decided I don't want to regret later in life and wonder "what if"!

I start on the in a couple of weeks but really hope I don't have to stay long, through my own choice though!

This has been the driving force behind many decisions in my life, too. I don't want to look back one day and feel regrets that I didn't have the guts to try something new when I had the chance.

Earning your first $1000 online must be a wonderful feeling! At least it is an indication that all your previous work is now paying off.

As others have said, before hitting it rich you have to make your $1 first.

So, congratulation once more and I'll keep following your blog to see where this takes you...
