How To Deal With Past Failure (Awesome Story)...

In internet marketing it can be easy to get
frustrated and feel like giving up.

Maybe your last campaign or website didn't
make any money, or maybe you have tried
many things that just DIDNT WORK.

We have all been there.

However, what separates those who succeed
from those who don't, is how they deal with
past Failures.

For those who don't already know, I am a huge
mixed martial arts fan. One of my favorite fighters
is George St. Pierre (GSP).

He had a huge loss a few years ago and had
trouble dealing with that failure.

So, upon the advice of a sports psychologist,
GSP wrote the name of the person who beat
him on a brick and threw that brick in the river.

What happened next? GSP hasn't lost a fight since.
(see full blog post about it here, or full interview here)

You have to get rid of your past failures. Are they on
your mind? Do you think about them? You may not be
aware of the impact they are having on you.

Its time to let them go for good and focus on success.

If you do that, you will always succeed in life.

That's right. Let go of failures and just learn from them. I guess instead of thinking of them negatively, try to consider them as a window of opportunity to improve.

Bill, thanks for the great story and reminder.

Letting go of the past failures is good indication that you wouldn't be having that same old mistakes again and that you're accepting the fact that even if you've lost, you'll still be able to survive the good image again and most especially, bring in more improved self to conquer life's challenges. That way, you'll never lose.

Always remember that today's problems are going to quickly become yesterdays. If you want to be successful at anything you have to get past your short-comings, enhance the positives, and work through the negatives.

This is awesome because I actually know who GSP is. I don't actually know him but I've seen him a ton of times on UFC and what not.

This is truly encouraging and I might follow a similar path. I don't have any rivers by my house so I think I'll stick to writing down the failure on a piece of paper and either throwing it in the garbage or burning it.

    Thanks

I can completely relate to this post because GSP is definitely one of my favorite fighters and he indeed has something called Excellence. And this guy is always working with the best to become the best.

But I never heard of this story before. Great post
